  • Review Update

I had meant to rate this app as a 5 star, never got around to it. Then the other day, an update came out or something and ads started appearing right in the middle of game play. Immediately came to review and left 2 stars. Then came back and gave 3 stars, because all the other freecell games out there are way worse. And then Fingerarts removed the ad, so here are their much deserved 5 stars. (Keep things the way they are ad wise!) The ads are way less intrusive than other games, and I actually view them because I appreciate the manner in which they’re shown (less than others- and you can close out of them immediately). As far as the actual game, they seem to be fixing the bugs (minor issues). But also, mess with your settings. A bug might just be on how your settings are adjusted. Overall, it’s my favorite game to play while killing time, and this app delivers a far more superior game than anybody else out there- by far!

  • Very Enjoyable Game

I've enjoyed this game for several years as I have several other of the Finger Arts games. It's been great for when I need to relax for a few minutes. It has four levels of difficulty which makes it tailorable to the level of effort or time that I want to spend on it. I especially like that the game does not automatically take a card off the board which makes it easier to strategize moves without having to bring cards back into play. I recommend this game for all ages.

  • Can not remove pop-up ads

I have a new iPhone 8 and am having problems with the Free Cell app. On my previous iPhone, when pop-up ads would appear, they could be removed by pushing the “X” box. Now, however, the “X” option no longer works and the only way to return to the game is to return to desk top and re-open the app. Very annoying, frustrating and time consuming. Please fix this glitch.

  • Fun and challenging

This game does not depend on luck, which is great for me because I don't have much luck. Potentially, you can win every game--if you use your thinking powers and stick to it. After winning over 3,000 games in a row at the hard level, I've now won over 1,200 in a row at the expert level. The game is great at keeping your statistics, and the graphics are good. No major bugs that I've found. I highly recommend this game.

  • ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME

I play many other solitaire games but this one is the very best for many reasons. I want to be challenged - which different levels of difficulty do nicely, but do NOT want to be so frustrated that playing is no longer fun - at which point and rather than get ulcers - that game ends up getting deleted. Plan to keep playing this one for years. It's always fun and so addictive that I try not to miss a day of getting the highest daily scores possible. Never any pressure. Can put on hold if necessary and finish later. Also neat to be able to go back during the month and redo any day for a higher score if desired. Using the relaxed mode is a great feature that keeps the game moving more smoothly but doesn't lessen the challenge. Thank you so much for providing such an awesome free game.

  • Nice relaxing game

I love not being under a time constraint and can come back later to finish. I like being able to find all of one type of card. The only addition I would like to see is being able to select the game by number so a friend and I can both play the *same* card layouts. Other versions have this and that can be fun when you want to add a little competition but not "play friends online" or if you ask them to play the same game to see if it is hard for them also. Not being able to select the game number is the only reason I don't give this 5 stars.

  • The best Free Cell App I've ever used!

I like the options for different starting levels. For someone who hasn't played for a while, it sure helps to get back into the game without the frustration that comes from starting at the expert starting level. Also, highlighting the the first cards you need speeds up your ability to figure out your starting strategy. The best Free Cell App I've ever used!

  • FREECELL BY FINGERPAINTS

I have just recently downloaded FREECELL to my iPad, I have found it to be very enjoyable. The game according to which level you choose, from easy to expert provides something that makes you think, and have to consider which move will take you into the next level or stop you in your tracks. There are some ads but not to the point of driving you crazy, totally obscuring the game. I enjoy this game. Thank you for giving this game free.

    Sincerely,
    DIANNA

  • Great game

My only beef is the points are given only for speed....some of the hard puzzles are very difficult, and take Considerable time. How anyone can get some of those really high scores is beyond me. I've won 10,000 consecutive hard games. Think how much time I've wasted😄😁😂

This game could really be improved..it could be played with friends, if a game could be chosen by game number, allowing two or more to compete. Also statistics could be accumulated showing average times, high and low, etc. Speed is hardly the only criterion

  • Redo feature is best

I've played free cell for 40+ years but if I deal a game with real cards and lose I cannot, of course, deal the cards the exact way ever again. Since every game is winnable, if I lost in the past I always just had to wonder what I should have done differently. This app makes free cell perfect! If you lose the app lets you try again. From the start, or just use the undo button to go back a couple of plays. Great game, great app. It is smooth, works perfectly, and doesn't have coins or prizes or cartoon animals floating all over the screen. It is a fun but quietly serious way to play a simple, challenging, satisfying game. Over and over and over!
