  • Wonderful App, Very Fun

I love this app! It’s fun that you can contribute to a variety of charities while doing several kinds of activities (outdoor/indoor running, outdoor/indoor walking, or biking.)
If you’re looking for a running app that’ll track calories, routes, intervals, progress, etc. this isn’t the app for you. However, I use Charity Miles in conjunction with my running fitness app(s) at the same time during my workouts. Might as well contribute to a good cause while exercising! You can’t lose.

  • Great but could be better

The app is fantastic, but it would be better if it can recognise the steps in step counter devices synced with the phone such as Fitbit etc. It's inconvenient that I have to carry the phone when I workout or work.

Moreover, it would be great if the app may record the steps and save them before we click finish. I worked at a retail store (which requires walking a lot) and turn on the walk inside mode. As it constantly tracks my location (I don't know why as I walked inside), the battery runs out really fast. My phone was powered off and it's a pity that my walking got the whole day disappeared.

Anyway, good app to keep fit and do good at the same time.

  • Fabulous!

If I could give this app 20 stars I would. It has been a tremendous incentive to me to exercise more, thus helping build my old osteoporosis ridden bones while helping others at the same time. I use it every chance I get, while cleaning, doing yard work, etc. And every time I use it I know some good company with the smarts and heart will pay the charity of my choice for the miles I walk! It helps the companies because I’m certainly more apt to use their products to help support them in return. And there is even more inventive now that the app has started adding rewards for miles completed. It just seems to be a win-win-win all around. Kudos and thanks to the Charity Miles developers! Keep up the wonderful work.

  • Great idea but would like a watch app

Awesome way to get fit and help others at the same time! However it’s a little inconvenient having to carry your phone would be great if there was a watch app!
  • Does not track my miles

I think Charity Miles is such a great idea! However this is the second time I have installed the app and it still is not tracking my miles properly. If someone can tell me how to fix this I would be delighted to use the app. The first time I used the app I had an iPhone 5 and I thought perhaps the problem was using an older phone with limited space. However, even after I re- installed the app on an iPhone X which had plenty of space I still cannot get accurate mileage tracking. Some days I put my phone in my pocket and there is no record of my walk at all. Since I walk 4 to 7 miles on a daily basis it saddens me that I am not giving this money that Charity Miles offers to the charity of my choice. Please advise!

  • Brilliant idea, well executed

Such a simple idea, to turn every commute or run, or even walk of the dog into a charity event, and yet without having to hassle family and friends every time.
And every ride/run, it’s quick to set, two presses and you’re off.
  • Lovely app

This is such a great app! I love that you can choose which charity or which charities you’re helping.

My only suggestion would be to allow the app to sync to something like an Apple Watch or a Fitbit as then there would be more of a range of workouts available.

Great job with this app it’s helping so many people in need ❤️

  • Add Fitbit integration and Canadian charities

Too much of a hassle without Fitbit / Apple Watch integration and a drain on phone battery to record
  • Love this app…but I have a little suggestion…

This app has given me a reason to get up and go jogging once again. The only thing this app needs…is a Apple Watch complication. Not only will miles be logged to charity miles, but it would also count towards the exercise ring on the Apple Watch as well. Plus it would make the mileage tracking so much better since it would use the watch’s sensors instead of just the phone itself. Other than that, this is an app worth keeping on my phone and future phones to come!!!!

  • Great scheme

This is such a great idea...develop a running habit and work for a good cause at the same time. Nice one to the companies doing sponsorship.
