This version includes new features to control the distribution of unwanted illicit images shared in Whispers. Whisper has increased the frequency of the post sweeps and updated logic on identifying automated user posts, such as bot posts. Upcoming releases will integrate our own, new machine learning models that will improve the accuracy of these identifications. Our data shows the vast majority of unwanted illicit images shared in Whispers are generated by automated bot attacks rather than legitimate Whisper users; we're taking additional steps to improve our capacity to block and remove theses accounts more quickly.
