Awful user experience- no access even though I pay

App is awful to use. So unclear. No way to see what type of subscription I've been gifted. Can't access material without a message away by either subscribe or pay even though I've been gifted a subscription. The may issue is out in the shops but not showing up on app for me to download. A complete waste of money.

May Issue?

So normally this app works great however despite restoring etc cannot get access to the May issue which is annoying as I can see it every time I go to the supermarket sitting on the shelves! Have paid the subscription but can't access - needs sorting asap.

Disappoing don't upgrade

Quite a few things wrong with the app. The latest issue is out now on newsstands but is not yet available on the iPad. It keeps logging me out and saying i need to pay or subscribe even though I'm a paying subscriber already when I try and resume reading an article very disappointing not to mention all the old issues they just deleted.

Broken?

I have a subscription but the app won't update and let me download the May edition. I've reinstalled the app, restored purchases and follows the troubleshooting advice in the FAQ online... still nothing. So right now I've paid for something I have no access to.

Not impressed

I've lost all content and it keeps trying to charge me again for content I should already have access to.
I've emailed customer services since January, and still no access. I will not be renewing my subscription.

Total Rip Off

Purchased a print and digital subscription and have logged in. Cannot access any material keeps saying I have to pay even though I have an active subscription. Emailed customer services twice in last two days and no response.

Do not update!!

Incredibly angry at this update. I have been a subscriber since issue one - that's years of issues. Now, after this horrendous update no more than the last 12 months of issues is available. This is content that I have paid for, and many issues that I had not yet finished reading, which has been taken away. I'm absolutely appalled and am livid at Hearst publishing for this decision.

App not working properly

I can't read the magazine on my ipad now either. Bought annual subscription in sept for my birthday and have enjoyed reading it. But now it won't open any of the previous issues! Tried logging in and email not recognised. Tried everything on FAQ. Tried emailing customer services but they just told me to try the same as it says on FAQ. Glad am not the only one who can't access my subscription though, reading the latest reviews!

Don't update the app!

The previous app was great an I enjoyed reading the magazines. I've updated the app on my ipad and now it won't recognise my email address to log in. I've logged in on the previous version on my phone so I know I have the details correct.
I clicked forgotten password and called the help number but apparently they don't deal with the digital part until August! Really annoyed that I now have a subscription which I can't access on my ipad.

Am I being Unfair??

I am already a subscriber to paper version and have just received my April issue. On the address / cover sheet I'm told this mag is now available for me to read digitally - Yay!

I duly downloaded the app and sign in to my 'existing account'... However I am now given the option to Purchase or take out a digital subscription!?! - Again? Really? None of my other magazine subscriptions do this to me. Very Disappointed!
Incidentally, the latest digital magazine is 'March' - Yet my paper magazine issue is 'April'.
Not at all impressed. I am, however happy with my glossy editions, and would give a four or five star for these. The three star deduction reflects my disappointment with the digital recharge. :(
