Poor version of the game
Sadly you pay $5 to unlock only the opportunity to pay $5 more for half a dozen add-ons. Which you'll want to do because it doesn't unlock that much content.
On top of that it's simply not a great version of the game. The basic, classic gameplay is there, like Monopoly but fun. Except not that fun because the computer players are poor, multiplayer is only pass-and-play, and the touch controls are awful. (For example the game is almost unplayable at the fastest speed because, inexplicably, touch sensitivity is tied to game speed, so you scroll faster than you can see.)
If the game was a true modern version of Itadaki Street and wants trying to nickle-and-dime me I'd give it a much higher rating. Previous versions of the game are tons of fun.

A good game but the computer cheats
It's a great game with a poorly programmed AI. It's designed to have them roll the die to the exact spaces they want. You can own one side of the board and they will almost always find a way to avoid shops and land on venture events. In the end, it's often not worth the trouble and frustration. Certainly not worth the money if you like to even have a chance at winning. Worse yet, the dice has a strong tendency to put you at a disadvantage with your roll. If you can just steal the game if you're jailbroken. Then you won't have as much regret once the frustration of this game sets it. It really is NOT worth your money to give the money grubbing lazy folks at Square-Enix.

Needs wifi connectivity.
See above title. Needs wifi play. Also why am I not getting all the maps, if i bought the full version, but now I have to buy so-called "DLC". Especially if I bought the full version? Nice game otherwise.
Breaks my heart.
I love this game. There are many different memories I have of playing this game with close friends and enjoying some drinks. I was really hoping for online multiplayer, but this game does not support that. Only local. Second, it isn't a universal app. If these two things could be changed, I'd gladly pay whatever cost. I'd be incredibly happy!

Love!
I love this game so much! Extremely well made and fun! I've never payed more than .99 for a game but just had to have the full version of this and I'm glad I bought it!
Addictive fun!
After playing a similar board game over the holidays, I was wanting to play something a little more sophisticated. The free demo was enough to convince me that Fortune Street was the game for me, so I purchased the full version. Having it on my phone is the perfect way to pass time when I'm out.
Some improvements would be nice for future versions:
*Online multiplayer (like the Wii version!)
*Map editor (I would pay extra for a map editor!)
*Universal iPad version (it looks OK on the iPad, but full screen would be nice. The iPad would better suit playing a board game with friends.)
*Re-translate some dialogue/menus (some things are worded too vaguely, i.e. I was nervous about "buying" it again on the iPad, but it eventually said the purchase was free because I already bought it... some people may be hesitant to click Buy without explanation!)
*Less sexy or "moe" characters (It seems like a family game, it needs more family friendly character design for Western sensibilities... so I don't feel weird playing this with family. i.e. bunny suit or maid girls)
The Wii version seems to address some of these complaints, so I bought it online. Thanks for bringing these games overseas to an English speaking audience!

Hmm
Okay game, but not everyone likes manga.
And if the device is a family thing, we should be able to choose the character and name each time.
Good game to sum it up, but I would probably like the Nintendo version better.

As good as the Wii version!
Apart from not having Mario and Dragon Quest characters and themes, this is a fun, addictive pocket version of the well received Itadaki Street / Fortune Street series, with high quality graphics, sounds, and gameplay. It's a more advanced skill based version of Monopoly. (I recommend googling the basics of how to play/strategise).

I thought it was going to make me pay for everything again for my iPhone when I already bought it on my ipad, but it didn't! I love this game!
