Needs work on synth

At first glance: seemingly comprehensive for phrases and useful words however the computer synthesised speech isn't clear nor good for pronunciation. Some words are just spelt out letter by letter. Great concept but needs work. For $0.99 though I'm happy enough since I already have an idea how to pronounce written Hungarian.

We have replaced the synthetic speech with real recordings by human beings. And at the moment the app is free download.

Good idea but fails

Like the idea that it speaks phrases to you but the computer voice is terrible, and blatantly wrong in some cases. ('Thank you' in Hungarian is hilarious). What it really needs is a written pronunciation guide.

Can't believe I wasted time & money on this. The "voice" is nothing but robotic gibberish. You should be ashamed!

Lots of phrases, poor recordings

The app is a good idea - lots of phrases in it too. I would use this app to SHOW Hungarian-speaking people what I want to say by showing them the screen...but the recordings that are supposed to help you pronounce the phrases yourself are computerized voices, making it impossible to figure out how to say the words.

The computer generate voice is dreadful, you won't learn much listening to it.

Worst ever

I am a native Hungarian speaker and this is the WORST I have ever seen. The pronunciation is absolutely wrong. Worthless!!!! I want my 99 c back!!!!
