  • Too basic

Barely any options and you can’t change any settings to suit your needs. Wasted my money.

    Developer Response

Hi GHTG, Thanks for the evaluation. The new version 3.0 is more advanced and we hope it better suits your needs.
  • Total crap - avoid

Just a very badly designed app with almost zero functionality. Avoid it at all costs
  • A great idea, needs a bit more options

As a working DP, this is an awesome simple app. But I don't shoot that much HD on Alexa, but shoot 4K often. Would love to see Alexa 2K and Alexa 4K added.
  • Could be a great app if it had more functionality

This app is pretty useless because you have no idea what compression rates these numbers are referring two. If you were able to change the resolution and compression rate of each camera I'd give this 5 stars.
  • don't bother

I uninstalled as soon as i put it on my phone. all of the presets are set for all the cameras. so unless you shoot what they tell you it's a useless app.
  • Very helpful

This is a very helpful app. Especially for a free one. It's designed for one specific purpose, which is to calculate disk storage needed. It does that job very well.
  • Simple, but limited

I like the simplicity. Too many data-calc apps are fiddly. And at least it has Scarlet and Epic rates. But what exactly is 'best quality' on the epic/scarlet? 3:1? Who shoots 3:1? And why 4K HD? Needs some extra settings, or ability to change defaults.
  • Don't bother

It says it was designed specifically for professionals, but it's way too basic to be of any use to any professional. There's no way to change any of the settings (fps, resolution, compression), so unless you're using exactly the configuration they have listed, it's worthless. And even if you are, you can't enter in exact sizes or times (for example, using a 128g ssd card, the closest I can get it by scrolling is 125.3 which means I have to approximate. Professionals generally prefer to deal in absolutes. It's frustrating that the makers of vis a vis or pocket dit haven't updated their apps to include the epic, scarlet, or Alexa because those are much better apps.
