Misleading and Inconvenient
First 2 times the transfer went through right away without any issues, so I was surprised by all the bad reviews because I had no issues with my initial transfers. Unfortunately, when making my 3rd transfer I saw a delayed message for security review? I answered all questions and waited the money was removed from my account immediately so I don’t know why they take the money then hold it without any real explanation. After waiting past the estimated transfer time I decided to cancel due to the fact I was using Xoom because I needed to send money fast and my family could not wait until Xoom decided it was ok or not. Now I understand the bad reviews and can confirm these negative comments to be correct because I had the same issues and will definitely not waste any time with their unreliable service. Oh and I’m still waiting on my funds to be returned which makes the situation even worse because I had to spend more money to send with a different service because although Xoom is speedy to remove the funds from your account they take their time and plus some in returning the funds. Awful !

First, there’s something very fishy with all these bad reviews being rated 5 stars —Apple needs to take care of that. It’s misleading to have an app rated 5 stars when the reviews are clearly bad. A Personal experience: Xoom is fine for small amounts, but terrible for amounts larger than 1k. Customer service is profoundly lacking (both in training and courteous demeanor). I called over 15 times in the span of one week while trying to resolve the various cancelled transactions when I was trying to send money to my family who had a medical emergency. The money needed to arrive quickly and I was put through the same hoops as others have mentioned on the reviews here. I wish I had read them instead of relying on the review star rating). Customer service asked me to have the recipient confirm the account details (even though the transaction before had the same exact detail merely a day or two before). No help in the resolution whatsoever, and in all the times I called I could only get ONE representative skilled enough to help me get the transaction to go through. I’m very frustrated at how long it took to send one part of the money, and I still couldn’t send all the money my mom needed to pay for her medical procedure. PayPal is great but unfortunately Xoom is terrible. Stay away!

Most reliable app
I have try other way to send money, but none is as reliable, secure and effective as Xoom, I am very satisfied and continuously recommend it to friends and family, beside is low cost which is a blessing for the security we get that our family will receive what we send.

I have been using Xoom for 2 years now and it’s been a breeze. I can also deposit funds in my NRE accounts and my experience has been fantastic. Smooth, quick and accurate.

Exchange rates are terrible. Use Wise instead.
Not only the app but the whole website is glitching
I sent money and they put it on hold asking for additional documentation, I clicked on the link they sent me and it took me to their page only asking to review the information of the contact u was sending money to, I clicked on review and proceeded, they charged me twice and put the second transfer on hold as well, very poor system
