Best & worst app
Great content, highest of quality. Often delivered with a touch of humor. Have been listening for over 30 years. Highly addictive.
However VERY glitchy. After he periodic updates (which seem to just be updating fund raising campaigns) I can’t get it to play. It just spins and buffers. I usually have to delete & reload & reboot my phone. Most of the time I have to repeat this process multiple times to regain access. It also cuts off often. Tech support almost impossible to contact.
Would rate it 5+ stars, except for the periodic and very frustrating tech issues.

Best news app, hands down
Love listening every morning, keeps me updated no matter where I happen to be. Excellent journalism!
I can’t depend on being able to access the app it keeps stopping
d on being able to access the app it keeps stopping. I have to turn off my phone and turn it back on and that doesn’t work then I delete the app and I reinstall the app and sometimes it doesn’t work. I’m not really happy with this app.
My fave app
I use the WFSU app constantly. Use it while walking our dog several miles a day and also while doing mind-numbing yard work. I respect the people doing local news coverage to keep us informed. Between our local coverage and NPR’s national coverage, We’re so fortunate to benefit from both.
Works flawlessly
Great for continuing one of those unexpectedly interesting public radio stories when you get out of the car.
Car to home happiness
I most often use the app to continue listening when a particular piece of music captures my attention in the car, but my travel is finished. It works flawlessly. Thanks for producing and supporting this app.

Is it the App or the Production that I abhor?
I love NPR but I have gotten so aggravated so many times trying to listen to it on WFSU that I finally deleted the app from my iPhone. Most annoying is the relentless nagging to donate money or to sign up for e-mails. In progress news reports being interrupted by the nagging messages...every time a broadcast was paused for a moment and restarted the nagging would replay. News reports would be superimposed or one would interrupt another. Horrible production of such valuable information.
