  • Update!!!

Please update this app, it can’t be too hard!
  • Recommended.

Works well on iPhone as of November 2023. Quick, clear and easy to use. No problems encountered.
  • Why no update?

The paperback is updated regularly. Why isnt this since 2018? 2014? Works fine otherwise.
  • 2014 dictionary, not current

    Needs updating
  • Very Useful

I use this app almost daily playing Word games. It is also very handy to have open when I play Scrabble with others to verify spellings.
Definitely an update needed, last one in 2018.
  • App Fix Suggestions

    1) Change keyboard to QWERTY! 2) Add a clear or reset button after you click “Find Words” so you don’t have to click edit each time! The. THIS WOULD MAKE IT 5 STARS!!!
  • Fraudulent

Does not include all words without a ~$20/year third party subscription, unless you already are a professional scrabble player with a tournament membership. Useless app, I want a refund.
  • Disappointed

I wanted the equivalent of the paper version, which I can browse. The description says there is a scrolling index that lets you do that, but I can’t find it. Also, this is out of date, so it is a rip-off. Where is the sixth edition? I think I should get a free upgrade when it comes out.
  • Great app, a few minor suggestions

This really a wonderful app, but two small suggestions. First, most of the time I open this app, I go to word finder. It would be great if the app would either remember the last state, or if the default functionality (when the app opens) could be changed in the settings.

Second, though the words are generally up to date I do occasionally come across legitimate words which are not included in the engine. The most recent one I can think of is velcro. I will grant you that this is also a trade name, but it also refers to a type of fabric fastener for which there is no other word. Forget the trade name. It has now entered the lexicon of day to day conversation... not as a verb, but as a noun. I think I also read that as of last year, it was now accepted as a word in scrabble, so why doesn’t the scrabble dictionary here include it?

  • Update Needed!

It doesn’t keep what I’ve entered when I return from Scrabble Game as it had before. It’s now continually malfunctioning. I’m no longer a fan until they fix that with an update. I’ll cross my fingers that that’ll happen soon. Thank you.
