I like it
I have a 5 years old and it's a good abc to start for a young kid. Now if your kid is 11 it's another thing...
The wast of money!
I am searching an app to teach my son the chess and I found this one. It is the lite version. Because I want to try this before I make the decision to buy the pro version, which is 4.99$. While I figure out that the so called lite version is too light! Do you know what a course means here? Move the pawn ahead! How could they organize the course in such a simple way! It is totally the lose of money and I don't trust the pro version. I am going to apply for the refund!

Very disappointed!
I bought this light version expecting that it would have the basic positions of the pieces explained for my child and after I bought this I found that I needed to buy the full version to even get that. If the light version was free or if there was an in-app purchase to upgrade this would have been fine but it wasn't. It feels like a classic bait and switch scheme to me. The light version is a total waste of money.

Irish
Felt duped. All the value is in the full version which is 5x the price. Deleted on principle and bought another chess tutorial from different developer.
No computer player
Lovely interface but it's not clear that you can't play against the computer. Plus if you want to upgrade so you can, you pay full price. So don't waste your time with this, get the full version or find a freebie.
Good, working design
Simple enough for readers to quickly understand. As a chess instructor and a certified teacher, I say it's a well-made app. Current price for full version is $4.99. That's a little steep for what you're getting in my opinion. But on the other hand it's a whole lot cheaper than spending money on a coach to teach the basics!
