Changes to map functions not good
Overall ok app to use. Changes to look and feel have made it less intuitive and the change to map functions for seeing where schools are on the map has taken away a really good well thought through function and made things more difficult in swapping between apps now to figure it out.
Search function that don’t work
I sent messages fortnight’s ago. If I search for properties based on land size parameters then I don’t get any private listings. I can see that the land sizes meet my parameters. No response on Facebook from trademe. People are paying a lot of $$$ for you to be botching their listings.
Good app but can you add the trade me estimated value?
This app is very good and really helps me to track open homes. 🙂 however, perhaps I'm doing something wrong here, but I noticed a "trademe estimated value" for properties on the trade me website, but not on the property app. Could you help me to find it or add it? I find that info really useful. Thanks.

Used to be great!
They removed the Insights feature, the replacement website opens in an in-app browser (so they can track you browsing it), and the feedback email address doesn’t exist anymore lol
Please add notes
This is the main app I use for house hunting, but please for the love of god, can we have the notes display on watchlist and search list views? I have so much I need to tell myself. Even if you truncate them. Cheers!
The bare minimum
I'm pretty certain that trade me puts the bare minimum in now that they've been purchased by that US hedge fund. At least, this app makes me believe that. Honestly, it is painfully slow, poorly designed, and I haven't seen a meaningful update in what feels like years. It's unfortunate we have so few choices in terms of property apps. Would love to leave this dumpster fire behind for something else. I do not understand how this app continues to have good reviews. Please just nuke the thing and start over.

Constantly freezes
When you turn your phone on the side to view the images landscape, the phone app often freezes. Sometimes clicking the back button to go back to your list will freeze the app. Sometimes, when you go from landscape back to portrait, the image sizes get stuck in a smaller size and you can’t pinch them back out. it’s a pain in the neck. The open home lists work well, but this app crashes every couple of minutes and has done on every version. You pull up a search for houses go in and check a couple and then try to go back and the app has crashed. iPhone 12 Pro Max iOS 16, but it also had the same problems on iOS 15 and older versions of the app. It has literally crashed every 30 seconds for the last 5 minutes. Each time I have to close the app and start over. USELESS WASTE OF TIME

Almost there
This app is a great platform for buying and selling houses in NZ. Parts of this app are great, but more often than not I don’t particularly enjoy using it. The loading times for searches are lengthy, and restarting the app doesn’t fix it. I feel that real estate companies have too big of a say in the all - probably by virtue being paid of paying for listings. Whereas the buyer experience is limited - for example I am sick of finding apartments in the townhouse and house sections, and I wish I could hide or remove listings I have already seen or am not interested in.
