  • Makes All The Difference

This is easily the most useful app I’ve ever purchased.

People are constantly astounded by how happy and good natured our son is (currently 8 months old), and I credit SO much of that to keeping him on a schedule that he can rely on. A schedule made possible only thanks to this app. He almost never fusses or cries, because (in his own baby way) he understands that that his next meal, nap, diaper, etc. will be taken care of and he doesn’t have to cry to let us know he’s in need of something.

I could NEVER keep track of any of these things without this app, and the charts and graphs are a wonderful tool to plot his stages of progression. If I have another child, I will 1000% subscribe to this app again.

  • Beware Preemie Mode milestones!!

This app is great for tracking diapers and feedings. However, for parents of preemies, be aware that in Preemie Mode the developmental milestone timeline DOES NOT adjust appropriately to reflect your preemies’ expected milestone dates, even though the app claims it will. They copy their milestones word for word directly from the CDC. Our baby is two months early, so expected to hit milestones two months later than term babies. However the app says that, by the end of his second month, our baby should hit the exact same milestones as the CDC lists for full term babies by that time. In reality our baby should reach these by the end of 4 months. The same issue is repeated with all the monthly milestones. Developers, please either fix Preemie Mode to actually accurately reflect Preemie timelines, or stop claiming that your app does it. As the app stands now, this could cause unnecessary stress for parents of preemies!!!

  • An update would be nice

I love so much about this app— it made the early days of tracking feeds and diapers so much easier, and there are helpful tools (growth and vacc trackers, a place for both parents to add questions for upcoming dr visits, etc.). My biggest peeve is that the daily tips have not been updated at all. Some feel very outdated, others were just completely irrelevant to life right now. I had my baby at the start of the pandemic and it was kind of depressing to read daily tips about taking “me time” by going out with my friends, having a date night at the movies with my husband, and a whole host of other things that were very noticeably missing and not possible during my baby’s first year. How hard would it have been to send out an update, removing or updating some of those more irrelevant tips?

  • Love this app!!!

    Only feedback:
    1) orange does not spark joy (for me); could we have color options? Or different themes? Different background color (I’d prefer white)? I value this app’s function, but it is not the most visually pleasing app out there.

    2) when I start a bottle feeding, I’d love to add notes awhile the clock is still going, so I can document how much I am offering the baby at the beginning & adjust the amount she actually takes at the end of a feeding. As of now, I just have to remember how many oz were originally in the bottle. I’d prefer to not have one more thing to remember & just have the assurance that it’s already written down.

    3) When I feed our baby, I typically use a combo of formula & breast milk. I would love to have the option to document both in one feeding V separate feedings. (The app only allows you to choose one).

Overall, great app! It’s helped my husband & I feel more structured & confident that our baby is getting the appropriate amount of food each day. Sleep? Well, we are working on that one ;)

  • Has been working well but now glitchy

We’ve been using this app shared among both parents and grandma, all who take shifts with the newborn, for 7 weeks. It is GREAT because time goes by so weirdly with a small baby and you can easily log diaper changes, feedings and pumping (including duration and volume). And everyone in the household can see the schedule, so handoffs are easy.

But recently it seems to be glitchy—diaper changes or feedings I SWEAR I logged are disappearing, like an entire days worth of diaper changes is missing. Possibly when multiple users have the app open at once there’s an issue?

One improvement I would suggest is for the mood tracker—add a timer similar to the sleep tracker for crying and fussing. When baby is going through the witching hour or is inconsolable it would be helpful to actually be able to time how long those periods are, as well as log them.

  • Best Baby App on the market!!

I’ve been using this app since my first child was 2 months old. My kids are now 6.5, 4.5 and almost 2 and we still use it regularly for symptom and growth tracking.
This app does everything you need, all in one place: track breastfeeding and what side you last fed from, bottle feeding, sleep/naps, growth, symptoms, medication, questions for the next dr appointment, you name it! You can even add pictures and memories, keep track of milestones and it has daily play suggestions and tips for the first year. It’s all neatly presented on a newspaper-like overview page.
You can even add pictures to symptoms you add in the symptom tracker which has been amazing for tracking allergic reactions with hives to later discuss them with the doctor. I’ve never had issues with bugs or the app not working; it’s always been really reliable.
I rarely spent money on apps but this one has been worth every cent!! I’ve even gifted it to several new moms and moms-to-be and they all loved it too.
If you’re torn between this app and another, forget the other and get this one. You won’t regret it.

  • New Parent Must Have!

So they let you take the little bundle of joy home from the hospital? Now what?!? My husband and I were struggling to track all the little details we were suppose to track when we brought my daughter home and like the millennials we are, paper charts just weren’t cutting it. My husband found this app and we paid for the syncing, $8 maybe? Worth every penny! Now we can track every feeding, which boob R or L, how long, etc. Then every diaper and every possible texture and color they could be. It makes you look a lot smarter when you go into baby’s first doctor appointment. Just get it! (Baby is now waking up now so this is all I can write for now!)

  • Shortcuts/Siri works well, watch support could be better

This is one of the only baby trackers I’ve found that supports shortcuts and thus Siri - this is amazing, and the single reason why we use this one vs some of the others with better interfaces. Hands free usage is obviously valuable when holding a wiggle monster!

I wish the watch app had a button to manually sync data from the phone, on demand- the babytime watch app does this well: As it is currently, this watch app often doesn’t show what the timers are currently doing until the app is opened on the phone causing it to sync - this kind of defeats the purpose of the watch app for us (ie trying to avoid having to open the phone as much as possible). We also often want to know what the previous breast used was, and the watch app does not show this info like other apps do - that’s another place we have to open the phone app again to check.

  • Recommend!

This has helped us keep up with my son so much in the last year! He had some medical issues at birth that has made it necessary for us to keep track of his intake and output. This made it so easy and convenient to do so! Once we started sleep training, we began using the sleep tracker which made seeing our progress much easier! It has also helped keep track of any medications he is on and scheduled appointments! I’ve had several doctors and specialists tell us they were impressed by our ability to keep track of his daily activities but this app is how we kept everything together! My only suggestion is to add a place to track oral fluids other than just breastmilk or formula. We just put his fluid intake into the “solids” section so we can keep track from day to day, but it would be nice for there to be a designated place for that so the app can also add up fluid intake totals. Even though our baby just turned one, we plan on continuing to track his input and output so that we are able to monitor his condition closely and know if he is having any issues. Highly recommend!

  • Lost data

Used this app multiple times a day WAS fantastic. Lived that it tracked everything and synced with my partner’s phone for shared parenting. Have t used it in a while as child is not getting bottles or nappy changes ect but keep up with the development and growth trackers. Signed in and remembers the child but my data is gone. All of the growth tracking from when she was born to now at almost 3. I have some recorded in her “green book” but not all. So disappointed as it was also great to check off milestones and keep a record.
