Great App. I enjoy the constant updates and the effort by developers to continually make it better. Thank you.
However, I believe this is my third favorable review for this same app. There is a message from the app which states that the app's review requests are reset after every update. I am giving one last review simply to get rid of the message.
This "reset" is a flawed practice. Get rid of it - rely on new customers' reviews - because pushing the patience of the app's veteran users will work against you in this forum.
Still the best chess app out there, but even that has limits.

Hello, the latest version should fix the issue for you.Cute, fun to play, not for serious use.
Highly customizable for pieces and board appearances. No variations, no annotations and no comments. Engine lines are prepended by useless [+][*] that comes directly from another chess app !? It does have potential. It looks unfinished ... ie: the history view has options to show/hide variations and comments yet, there are no such features ...Show lesssky668

Hello, you can find the annotated databases in "Grandmaster Mode". Simply press the database icon to change the database. Please let us know exactly what you would like to see and we will add it ;)Update

Best chess app available
You can play against a computer which is a very scalable challenge, play through a large number of annotated historic games or just play in the training mode which in my opinion is good mostly for learning how to play the first few opening moves.
Finally puzzle mode has been implemented and it’s the best.
You can play the win/mate/draw in x moves to practice making the best moves and if you get stuck or confused you can switch straight over to training mode to play the solution out.
Frequent updates and as of December 2017 still an active project with the developer taking and replying to feedback.Show lessBryceWilliams

I like it
The update is just amazing but the bugs need to be fixed the crashing in one of the games of the database is pretty bad. I know this update just came out but that was what I realized. Basically it just freezes then it crashes. But the updates great keep on doing it mastersoft Ltd.
The databases in the world championships were crashing for sure I dont about anything else though.Show lessBabyLoveShack2
