Outdated and Basic
This app is seriously outdated and just downright basic. Allows only the most rudimentary control of devices and basic timers; it lacks the ability to actually automate your home in any meaningful fashion (i.e.- randomization timers, IFTTT, geofencing, multiple timers on a single device, etc) It's been years since there has been zany real development or features added, opt for another technology and skip Insteon!

Good news, bad news
The good news is the app works most of the time, but the bad news is that Insteon has the worst UI ever! Even when I call their support they have a hard time getting it right the first time. I hate having to edit "scenes".
App Does not Login
All this app does is detect an incorrect password and send a reset email. If you try logging in with your correct credentials, it just spins and waits forever.
This of course means my hub is useless.

Do not update. Major issues with 1.15
I did the mistake of updating this app today. My entire Insteon network is acting improperly. Some devices now triggering others for no reason. Had to disconnect garage I/o switch as it became unreliable. Same for my fireplace. Several devices would come on simultaneously when they shouldn't.

Very few features. Basic, Basic, Basic
Insteon hardware is very good.
The hub 2 and software are very poor.
Absolute minimal feature list. Basically sunrise, sunset, time on and time off are your only choices. Only one timer per scene and only one scene per device.
A scene cannot call another scene. No scripting.

Cannot connect
When I switched from my 6 plus to 7 plus I cannot connect to hub. Even by going through all the help pages on Insteon I still cannot connect to hub. Works on other devices besides mine so I know there's nothing wrong with my password email combination
Unreliable
Either the sound doesn't work of the video freezes with no rhyme or reason. I have to force close the app every time I use it. Moving the camera is cumbersome. Based on my personal experience I cannot recommend this to anyone unless it is just a toy.
Insteon
This app really needs some updating. A good amount of the time the app doesn't work and neither does the products plus the app needs a better design. Does not look like an app a home automation company like insteon not should have
Not fully functional
Disappointed with the app. Scenes do not work consistently and the same applies to schedules. I have tried many different devices and setting up a schedule is simple impossible. Furthermore you cannot have different on/off times for different days of the week. It require lots of work...
Good
It gets the job done, but devices are painfully slow to load and respond. If you intend to use this app as the primary controller for a light switch or something, it would be way too slow to be useful.
