Totally inaccurate
Watching a flight from PNG that says it’s due to arrive in Brissy that was turned around not long after leaving. What is the point if it’s completely inaccurate and doesn’t show the actual flight situation? Incredibly disappointed and ergo couldn’t recommend at all.

Reliable and the best
I have always used the flight status app for last ten years, it always shows accurate departures and arrival information along with terminal information accurately in any part of the world. It is precise accurate and a most reliable app.

Was amazing and informative plus reassuring to follow my Sons flight to West Africa , will use again tomorrow as my daughter returns from North Africa .

Apples new privacy rules - handled in bad faith?
1) love the app UX
2) hate being tracked for marketing / other reasons
I opened the app for first time since Apple updated their new privacy rules. App asked if they could track. I asked app not to track.
Next was presented with a page stating they use advertisements to keep app free and to accept or ‘not now’. Click not now
**what happened following left a bad taste**
Proceeded to take me to a further page we’re I need to accept the tracking ( all selected ‘share’ by default). I have ability to deselect all, but it’s cumbersome and confusing. Additionally when you into enough screens you have only ‘Accept’ to get out. Otherwise you have to hard kill the app to not be forced to accept.
The number of companies that the show as partners appears to be over 400, I lost count halfway through and many of these partners are all over the globe. It was difficult where these partners came from. Was not able to see if it was OneTrust or if it was Cirium/LexisNexis
I wanted to see if I could change settings. As a test I selected 1 partner to permit tracking with and entered the app. I was able to make changes to cookies, however the list of partners was randomized and seeing one or two while scrolling was difficult without knowing what the name of the ad partner was.
3. Will delete FlightStats and find a different app

We rent cars and so use this app to track our client flights. It has never failed us.
