  • Love the app

Fantastic app but could you please make the break timer stop in between sets, as the break time seems to cut into the workout time which can show calories being burnt that shouldn’t be
  • Simple but effective

Perfect as a simple gym tracker - could do with a way of automatically sharing data across devices (you have to sync manually). Update: You now can share across devices - workouts are easy to edit. Great app.
  • Best I’ve ever had - until the the last update

Unfortunately, I can no longer back up my data from iCloud. I am also prompted for login details every time I start up the app. I do not wish to sync my info this way or be forced to do so. So despite this apps otherwise great features, I no longer use it. Been using it for years now.
  • Apple Watch Issue

I used to absolutely love this app. I use it every day, sometimes twice, and when I started using on my Apple Watch it was so convenient. Lately though it will crash at least a dozen times per workout, closing the app and making me navigate back to the workout and exercise. Seriously kills the momentum of a session, even though being able to use properly from the watch would be extremely efficient.

Unfortunately the communication between the iOS and watchOS not always working properly. The reason is, that the system decides by itself the to send data to Watch and when not. You can try one of following solutions: 1. Activate flight mode, wait for 1 minute and deactivate it again. Your Apple Watch will be disconnected from the iPhone and reconnect again after you deactivate the flight mode. You can find some information on flight mode here: https://support.apple.com/HT204234 2. Turn your Apple Watch off and on again. If the app still not working, try next solution. 3. Uninstall the Apple Watch app by using the companion app on your iPhone. Then install it again the same way. If the app still not working, try next solution. 4. Delete the iOS app and load it again from the App Store. Make sure you make a backup of your data before deleting. Otherwise all your data will be lost. You can find the login/register option for cloud backup in tab "Settings". Login to your account in web version of Fitness Point to check if all data was uploaded successfully. 5. Unpair your Apple Watch from the iPhone. Start pairing it again and restore your Watch data from backup if asked. This will automatically install Fitness Point on your Apple Watch. 6. Unpair your Apple Watch from the iPhone. Start pairing it again and don't restore your Watch data from backup if asked. Let the pairing process complete and install Fitness Point on Apple Watch by using the Watch app on your iPhone. It is very important, that you don't restore data from the backup.
  • Easy to use

This app is extremely easy to use. I was able to add my week of workouts in 10 min. I waited a couple of weeks before I reviewed it and the logs are fantastic. I like how it displays my previous workouts so I can keep track of reps/weight. Not every exercise is in the database, but it's unrealistic to expect every single exercise to be there. Despite this, the database is very extensive and you have the option of adding your own exercises.

  • Fantastic! But some features are needed

I love this app so far. I only wish for any exercise I can just add in a time instead of just some number of reps. Like, for example I'd like the app know I want to do x number of sets of 30 second pushups. I dont want to get rid of the reps feature obviously, but i dont want to rely on it for everything either.

Additionally, all this app needs is more variety of exercises. Id love "basketball" to be added, and id love more weight lifting exercises too.

Lastly, it would be great to simultaneously add exercises under multiple headings! Sometimes i may forget to include stretches, and currently i would be forced to add dozens of stretching exercises under 1 heading, click on "edit" and drag them onto other headings.

No new exercises are planed at the moment. There are thousands of exercises and unfortunately I can't add them all. But if you are missing some exercises, you can easily create your own. To create new exercise just click on the plus button in the upper left corner while you're on screen with muscle groups. You can add one exercise multiple times to the same workout. So no need to move it around.
  • Disappointed

This was my daily workout app that I converted to a few years ago as I could log everything on my Apple Watch without the need of carrying my phone into the gym. I really enjoyed it. Not the case any longer as they do not support the first generation Apple Watch.

I would not have updated the app if this was simply disclosed in the release notes that features would be removed, but it was not. If you have a first gen Apple Watch and want to keep your app working DO NOT UPDATE!!!

I’m really bummed out as this was the only reason I bought the app. It’s not realistic to expect customers to buy new Apple Watches in order to continue use with this app. I give it another month to see if they bring back Watch app functionality. Otherwise, I’ll be deleting and moving on to another service.

Please ask Apple why they drop support for the first gen. Apple Watch.
  • Great app! I’ve got a question..

So I stupidly purchased this app with my work phone that was also signed into my Apple ID. However when I downloaded fitness point pro onto my regular phone, it didn’t come with any in app purchases, even though it’s the same Apple ID. Know of a way around this? Thanks! Love the app!

Thanks for the response! It worked perfectly. Love the app!

The app keeps quitting on me? I love it and need it to work..so..maybe needs a tune up?

  • Best gym tracker out there!

I’ve tested heaps of those gym apps. And by far this is the best one in the market. Simple and very cheap.
Although, without the PRO VERSION it turns pretty useless. But is super cheap, so worth to pay it for.

If you’re looking for a good gym tracker look no further!
  • Developer became greedy

This app used to be great. I have used it for the better part of 4 years. With new subscription based business model, it’s now become like every other fitness app out there and charges you for things that should be basic for a fitness app AND were features offered in the app with the initial purchase of the pre-subscription version of the app. It was the fact that this app offered all of these things and didn’t force you to subscribe to access basic features that brought me to this app. I will now be deleting this app and on the hunt for its replacement. Wish me luck. The developer really had something with this app and was what I considered the best fitness app on iOS, now it’s just like all the other greedy developer apps. Such a shame.

All features you purchased are still available to you! We just added some optional new features, but nobody forces you to buy them.
