Fun game with a few kinks
Hollywood Monsters is a fun game with a few kinks. Lovely graphics (which requires a lot space on your device), fun voice acting, unconventional characters and challenging (but not impossible) puzzles make this a nice addition for any point and click adventure gamer. That said, I lost interest in the game initially because it crashed and froze at certain parts, especially in the Egyptian temple. A bug fix was provided, and I picked up the game again after several months. However, there continued to be minor crashes throughout the game, which was incredibly annoying. Fortunately, no progress was lost after restarting, but this bugginess often happened while solving specific puzzles (the tango challenge, for instance). While I recommend Hollywood Monsters to games, I hope the developers fix the last remaining bugs.Show lessWarriornun
Good but
Where can I find a walkthrough? I'm stuck at liz taking a bath. I have half a button for the elevator but don't know what to do. At the scene where u put the head back on the Scottish guy in the painting.duderonomi
Great old-school feel
Wonderful game, with beautiful animation, and an old-school feel much like the adventure games of old. Highly recommended.Phoenix155

I really didn't expect it to be this amazing! If you're looking for a well-written, story-driven iOS game look no further. The characters are charming, the settings are vibrant and interesting. Heck even the character animation is fluid! This game is a must have!Missyvirus
Fix the bugs!
I would have given it a 5 if not for the constant crashing, freezes, and bugs. Wow, I don't think I've ever had to restart my iPad so many times while trying to finish a game!Hguhnbgf
Fun and worth the money
I can't give it four stars because there are bugs that cause the game to crash at odd times. Also I had to reboot my iPad at least once because the app locked everything up. I was able to complete the game and had lots of funBicycleChick
Loved it
Ayo! This game is pure nostalgia for a big "point-click" fan like myself. Very creative story telling and puzzles. The ending is rewarding and pretty darn adorable. Thank you and please make another game!Rawbeets
Best game i've bought
I love adventure games and this is the best one I have played. The puzzles are challenging and the storyline is clear and fun for adult gamers. It is also nice to have a funny story rather than horror. The ending also cracked me up and completely made this purchase worth it. Also the game is a good length. I kept thinking it was ending and thena new chapter would appear. Linking the help feature to the story and having the story tracked by the side scrolling graphic organizer was a nice touch.Show lessCam Saint Paul
Fun game with occasional crashes
Love the game, the wacky characters. It does occasionally crash, though. However, the game usually saves progress correctly and reloads fast, so not a big deal.ChronoLegion
Cute Game So Far
I like this game, it's silly. Good level of difficulty, original storyline. It's great how much it makes you think outside the box. It is a little buggy...it's gotten caught on a loop and frozen a couple of times, requiring me to restart my iPad.
