I had this years ago on the PC - now even better on my IPad Pro.
I note that it still has the pc commands on the drop down menus - no good on tablet though. Perhaps the developers could provide some smart icons for tablet. For eg an icon for save, load, recall and recruit. There’s even room just above the end turn label in between unit info.
Well written game - no crashes. However just to be picky I lost the option to recall a couple of units - a red mage and a grand knight with special armour in one campaign. Perhaps it’s to do with the scenario? Anyway no big deal as I still won. Difficulty?
If there’s any gamer out there playing this game on top difficulty level then they are General quality, cos I couldn’t. It’s a top game for casual time passing and big enough to replay over time.Show lessEEberton

Thanks for feedback and sorry for the bug. Wesnoth is old and complex, bugs happen. Maybe you will be able to get your Grand Knight back in the recent update - we had a similar bug fixed - but no promises. You're welcome to come to the forums and give your feedback on campaigns' difficulty. I'm very sure that players who can win any campaign on any difficulty exist, but feedback from newcomers is always valuable.For 4$ this is a total steal
I was extremely impressed with this game. It it pretty difficult but very fun. My only complaint is it doesn’t seem too work with the iPad Smart Cover keyboard which is a bummer because the interface seems to imply that their are keyboard commands. Oh well...Wear146
Add ons do not work
add ons dont work. I can install an addon, and I can play it, but when I save the game, then close the app, then later on, when I open the app and load the game, the game does not work and has a bunch of lua errors
I play on an ipad 3 and the add on I was trying to play was legend of the invincibles, but I have had the same problem on other add ons.
Everything else seems to work, and I am able to play the mainline campaigns. I have not tried the multiplayer option.Show lessFunchuck

A brilliant turn based strategy game with loads of gameplay and story content. My 9 year old enjoys playing but it is challenging for the experienced player too. Lots of downloadable extra content. Multiplayer and single player modes both great.Jdl060770

The most classic strategy game you will ever get out there, so many different units,so many different campaigns- Even featuring multiplayer!... That being said this game badly needs to be updated to 1.2 port, I know you developers are looking for someone to re-port iOS version. Keep searching! This game will always have my support!
