  • Amazing! Worthy of my $2.99!

Amazing! Runs smooth, barely crashes, and is fun! I haven't had the honor of playing the computer version, and I have dreamed of getting it, but the iOS version blew my mind! I didn't quite understand why one device was only used as a server and why you couldn't play on that device, but it makes total sense now. Amazing. That's all I can say.

  • Great coop game

This game is a lot of fun when you can get a team of players together. It was fun with just two of us, but it really shines with at least five.

The game has some bugs. It is disappointing when in the heat of battle the app on the server device crashes, snatching the anticipated thrill of victory from your eager grasp! Connecting the clients could be difficult at times also.

Overall, this game is certainly worth playing.

  • Best Team game I've ever played

WOW! This is the game that all the sci fi geeks like myself and friends have been waiting for! My only question, is why didn't someone think of this game sooner? I really hope to see this game on the featured apps soon, it is by far the best team style game I've ever played!
  • At last!

My brother and I have been fans of Artemis for several years now and had experimented with using the iPad as a Remote Desktop for playing with mixed results. Now we are extremely pleased to see it as an iOS native app. Despite the few bugs we are looking forward to many engagements with our crew and more options to play with than ever.

  • Turn your iPhone into a multi-node game server

Excellent port of a nearly perfect PC multiplayer starship bridge simulation. If you've ever wanted to hang out with your friends and explore the galaxy like Captain Jerk and Mister Schlock, this is the game for you.

Not an online MMO, but rather a 3-6 local player starship simulation. A group of friends with iDevices who love sci-fi will find many hours of fun here.

We laughed, we yelled, we accidentally set off a nuclear weapon in stardock. Get some friends together and play this, you won't regret it.

The concept alone could revolutionize party style games.

  • One of the best games ever, but...

Absolutely amazing game, the most fun you can have with a bunch of ipads and a tv, but this is a very minimal and buggy port.
Connecting requires manual IP entry and often fails, or messes up the screen, and doesn't give any feedback. Crashes are common, and when it happens you can't reconnect midgame.
If you run the server on an iphone and get a call your game is gone. Basically this needs a lot of work, but its still worth it for sure.

  • Great!

Had a LAN Party today and my app did not fail me. The only thing is that at one point it started to choppy and delayed in recognizing my taps -- it was when we changed the level to 11, just to see how it was. I don't know if the map being "crazy" because of the high level was the reason, but it seemed to fixed itself when played at level 5. Other than that, WE LOVE THIS GAME AND THE APP!

  • Impressive v1.0

This is an excellent port. I tested all of the stations and they all work astonishingly well. I think engineering should still have a pc for precision and engineering presets. Helm worked so well it surprised me but it could still benefit from the precision of a mouse. Everything else worked really well, including the ios server.

  • Awesome starship bridge combat!

I'm a long time fan of Artemis SBS. It's a social game in which every person mans a console in a simulated starship. The port from the PC to the iOS is excellent. It retains the original game's feeling while adding a touch interface. The game can be a bit sluggish due to the nature of the networked play. I look forward to incorporating my iOS devices in my group's next game.

  • Amazing Game now on iOS

It's awesome to play with a touch screen. It feels more natural than playing with a mouse on a PC. Everything I've tried so far runs great. It seams to limit helm to warp controls and can't define the kind of ship, tapping on those controls only seems to want to rename the ship. Hopefully in another release this will work more like the PC. I also hope the jump drive allows keying in jump cords and distance. (but I've wanted that on the PC side too)
