Response from developer
This app has had the user interface upgraded to deliver a better user experience. There have been new categories of words added. The lessons are more coherently organized by similarity and difficulty level. In addition, the voice recordings are better. This will help young learners to have a successful learning experience with this app.
very good
a good app for kids to learn pronunciation with silent e
Response from developer
Yes, once all of the simple and easy silent final e words were used, it was decided to use more uncommon words to build up the word reading lists for this app. There are a number of learning programs that practice blending with nonsense words. It was decided that it would be better to use real words, even if they were uncommon words. This can help build your child's vocabulary and help them in general with reading. New unknown words come up when reading books, even for adults, so it is good to train children to read new words. Finally, the app will always say what the word is when the picture image is touched. This is to avoid confusion as to which word the picture image represents.
