  • Best all in one for an entire family

TripLog by far has all the options I need to help me keep my expenses, mile tracking, and reporting, all together. TripLog easily marks many data points to maintain accuracy for mileage tracking. Syncing my business banking and credit cards make all transactions smooth. All I have to do is assign a category on the downloaded transactions and upload the receipt I saved. No manual data entry required when used properly.

  • Support Could Be Better

I’ve been using the app for a couple of years with no issues. In May I started to have problems with auto start that continue to happen. I have done everything tech support asked for but no relief. When they request a file to check they don’t get back to you until you ask them. When I asked if it could be a particular issue the response was that big companies are using it and they are not having problems. Then I was asked what phone I was using and that was the last I heard from them. Great app when it works but can’t say the same for support

  • Need a good bug exterminator

So been running this since February and while the free trial was working. App worked great and pushed me to pay the 59 dollars for the full features. Since the day I paid for the app is has all gone down hill from there.

App saying auto start disabled need to upgrade

Stopped logging almost every other day where you were manually logging and spending more time editing all the entries.

Said make sure you keep the app running in the back ground. It was and when you would check it all seem set right.

Found out after about a week if you don’t cloud sync it would start all over again saying need to upgrade and no auto start and no logging.

The best kicker was two weeks ago I reading in the trouble shooting it maybe need to delete the app and re install to fix bugs.

Deleted and reinstalled and no even tho I have a receipt. There seems to be no record of any of my account info and data I manually or anything. So no have lost almost a half of year of data and it cost me 59 dollars and no tax right off. I going to have to spend the rest of the year manually doing and my best to redo the first of the year for two vehicles.

Wouldn’t recommend to trust the data really needed to spend or use something this important.

    Developer Response

Hello There, It sounds like there might have been an issue with the payment lapsing and the sync not occurring due to reverting to the LITE plan. If this is not the case and need actual assistance please contact support@triplgomileage.com and we can assist you.
  • Good app until they lost all my data twice

I loved the app but I had two instances where my data was completely lost and unable to be backed up. The app had actually logged all of my data and then completely lost it and support confirmed it could not be backed up after multiple attempts. I confirmed it was nothing I did wrong with settings and it was always set to “always allow”. Support was very nice and got my money refunded. The app works great, but if you use it, I would recommend that you have monthly reports saved or printed in case your data gets permanently lost, which apparently does happen sometimes. I will say that although support could not help they were very responsive and tried to help and were nice to refund.

  • Traveling with a purpose

Trip log is a great app that helps people traveling for personal or business reasons log their movements through the day. TripLog is very helpful for people traveling for business purposes that need to log mileage expenses, mileage, and locations logging. It is also a great tool for marking destinations that you’ve been and plan on revisiting. I enjoy the app it is a convenient tool for people who travel frequently and need to document their movements for the sake of business.

  • Great when it works

The product is great when it works. I have the feature turned on when Bluetooth starts. There are times that the app didn’t work when I turn the car on and start to drive and sometimes I don’t notice and then I miss out on certain driving locations it’s like a constant look at the app to make sure it starts. I even tried the USB adapter to Bluetooth and that didn’t work either. The support try but the copy and canned responses don’t help.

Overall it’s an okay app but see it needs more improvement.

  • To Bad

Developers decided to cash in on subscription pricing. Been using this app for many years. Paid $9.99 to purchase the app back when it was first out. Then developers changed to annual subscription $9.99 in order to get access to reports. Then that wasn’t enough so they changed to monthly subscription.
I get it app and software developers learned that consumers don’t repurchase programs that they own, so to line their own pockets they choose to not sell their product but to lease its use to the consumer, ensuring a continuous income.
I choose not to support this business model any longer. There are still app developers that will sell you their products with no strings attached to your wallet.

  • Displeased with this service

I have become completely dissatisfied with this product. I have to manually start every trip even though my magic trip automatic start is set. I previously complained about this and was told I had to make sure the app was always running in the background. I never shut this app down and I still have to manually start a trip. Because of this I have missed out on a lot of mileage that would help me on my taxes. I am now going to be looking for a new mileage tracker because this is ridiculous. If someone wants to call me and talk through this I would be more happy to talk with them. But in the past I can only communicate through email and that is not good business.

  • When it works its great unfortunately that’s only about 20% of the time

At this point I’m ready to ask for my money back. I pay yearly for the subscription with auto beacon that is supposed to start tracking my mileage when it hits 5 mph. I use this for work as I drive nearly 1200 miles per week. I find more often than not that I am missing entire days is because it never bothers to kick on the auto beacon. I’m constantly having to go back and try to track the mileage on my own which is very irritating considering I pay for the service. When it works it’s great; unfortunately I’m finding that recently it’s only about 20% of the time that it actually works. I’ve tried multiple different USB ports in my car and nothing seems to help. My suggestion is save your money.

  • Scam likely …

This app was decent for what it’s worth during the free trial. I cancelled the subscription (because it wasn’t so amazing that paying for it made sense) and later decided I didn’t feel like writing down my mileage on paper and decided to pay the 5.99 for the app. They took my 5.99 and then I got an email saying that another 5.99 would be taken in 2 days? When I reached out the guy told me that I was billed for my “past data” for the month I went without using the service and that it would “renew” in 2 days. First of all, I didn’t use the “past data” for anything at all during that time… Second, how does that even make sense when the “past data” was from a FREE TRIAL? He had no real explanation and then at 3:41 am they attempted to take my 5.99 AGAIN. It’s a NO for me. Now they want to comment on here. Still telling lies! Wow.
