  • Delivery for multiple platforms

I deliver for multiple companies. Before learning about TripLog, I was manually tracking all of my miles, gas expenses, etc. But TripLog makes it so easy - all I have to do is plug my phone in & the tracking begins! The 15 day trial was a bit deceiving - at the end of the trial it prompts for payment but the payment only covers the remaining 15 days from the trial start date & still charges for the price of a full month, so the trial really isn’t “free” per se. The conveniences make it worth the cost but it should be explained more clearly upfront.

  • Perfect tool for tax organization!

This app works great for tracking business miles driven! I would recommend getting the beacon. It will start logging the miles when you start your car. The app has many features, but my favorite feature is having the ability to turn off certain times a day/or days from being logged. For instance, if you don’t drive for work on the weekends, the app has the ability to turn that off. Would highly recommend this app!

  • EXCELLENT!!!!!

I have been using this app since July 2013 and it is the BEST!! If you looking for a mileage tracker, one that will auto start on and off, (awesome feature) track all your auto expenses, locations etc... this is the app for you. You will not be disappointed!!! The auto scan of your receipt with auto fill into the app is so convenient and accurate. I have my family and friends using this app and they have thanked me over and over. Again, this is the BEST AUTO MILEAGE APP on the market and for the cost, it is. Steal!

  • Excellent Product

I have been using trip log for several years now, the paid version, and I have found it to be worth every penny. Customizable reports, integration with my QuickBooks online, hot syncing between my phone and the cloud, and accurate and user-friendly. Really could not ask for more. The product isn’t perfect of course, nothing is. But on the occasion where there have been errors or difficulties, the tech-support people have been right on top of it and extremely helpful. It really is a great product and I highly recommend it.

  • Bad experience

I set up trip log, bought the expensive USB port for the car, set up auto log and auto track as well as auto pay. It has not automatically logged a single trip even when I use the USB button in the car. Every time I clicked on the app it prompted me to pay and said my bill was past due even though I had set up auto pay. When I would try to click to enter my payment information it would say that I had already paid. But because the app thought I was past due it was not logging the trips. I have been trying to communicate with customer service and they just keep sending me the same articles that I already have access to and haven’t been very much help. They also told me that I should have reached out sooner and that there was an issue with the app registering my payment as though it was my job to notice that reach out and fix it.

  • Tremendous app!

TripLog literally does everything you could possible need it to do. I own a small business and this has helped me immensely with keeping track of mileage. Not only for business related trips but every trip. Just change the category to personal for trips unrelated to business, and your good to go. From making notes about a trip or stop to keeping transaction records, this app does it all. Almost too good to be true! Don’t waste your time with other apps. This one is worth every penny and more!

  • Super easy to use

I’ve tried other mileage apps, and this one so far has been the easiest to use. I like the auto start and stop features as I don’t have to remember every time I start my car to start the clock. Best of all, I’m able to customize my report to exactly how I need - as my company’s mileage reimbursement system is a little different than most. I’m able to get the columns for exactly the information fields I need without the need to reformat them like I did on other apps. Reporting my travel has become several steps easier.

(My review is my own thoughts, but TripLog did offer a promotion of a free month added to my contract for the review.)

  • Great up been using years

I have been using this app now for almost 3 years and love it I gave it 4 stars tho because I recently just got the TripLog drive and it is supposed to keep track of trips but I notice a lot of trips starting ok but then I can’t stop them because the TripLog drive thinks I am still driving and if u force stop it it does not collect end location or mileage I wish the app and TripLog drive worked better together so when u manually end a trip the TripLog drive recognizes that trip was ended and updates info to the app

  • Good App, Annoying Problem

Update: I’ve contacted customer support. Initially, they seemed helpful; however, over the past week, nothing has changed. In the most recent email, they determined the problem is fixed even though I’ve told them the correct vehicle was manually changed from the incorrect vehicle. This morning, the wrong vehicle was tracked and again I have to edit my trip. This is not an acceptable fix (which isn’t a fix at all because the problem still exists. Nothing has changed). I shouldn’t have to edit the vehicle for every trip especially when I have the correct vehicle selected as the default.

I’ve used this app for years. I notices recently that it’s defaulting to vehicle I no long have. I’ve changed my default vehicle to my current one however it still tracks on the old vehicle. I have to go in to every trip and change the vehicle because it won’t track on my defaulted vehicle. It’s so annoying.

Hi Corallyn, Please feel free to contact us again. You can schedule a call on the website if you need more explanation or walk through of the process. I will try here and again feel free to contact us for clarification. There is a Default vehicle that will be used for manual tracking or Autostarts if not configured. Since you are using Bluetooth the default vehicle is overridden by the assigned vehicle to the autostart. You need to go to TripLog App > Main Menu ( ≡ three line icon ) > AutoStart On > Select Bluetooth Device. Choose your current Bluetooth in your vehicle. Then Choose Link Vehicle. Make sure the Correct vehicle is associated to the Bluetooth device. Generally you want to connect to a device in the vehicle not a portable hands free that may move between vehicles. Again to be clear. If you had originally renamed the you will need to update the settings other than the Default Vehicle setting. If there is additional clarification needed please schedule a call.
  • Shady charges! BUYER BEWARE!

I had a subscription for a period of time and then no longer needed the program due to a job change. When tax time rolled around I realized I had to pay $40 to reactivate my account to retrieve a report. I had asked an employee if they could assist me with simply getting a copy of it since it was a report from during the time period I paid for the app. Their “policy” was no. So I had to pay $40. During the beginning of Covid after my husband and I were both out of a job like half of the country, it hurt. But, I guess I understood.
Now, 3 months later I notice a $40 charge in my bank account from TripLog.
I emailed and politely asked what the charge was for. The response has left me with a very bad impression of the company.
“Per our return policy, we do not refund subscriptions except within 30 days of the first payment. It looks like the account was paused, auto resumed and charged.”
Why was my account auto resumed and then charged? It should have been cancelled. And for there to have been some sort of an error and them to not have even considered assisting me... it’s very shady. Now I’m out $80 for an app that I have absolutely no use for.
    BUYER BEWARE!
