  • Love this App!

First off, this is probably the best workout app out there. I’m glad I found it. There’s a lot of positives about it such as, adding any kind of exercises, and the timer countdown. Lastly, if I could make a suggestion for improvement. If there is a way to have individual folders to put the routines in to keep things organized. For instance, when there is a workout plan you want to create you title the folder the name of the workout plan, then click into it to add the routines. Maybe color coordinate to indicate the one your currently working on, or something along those lines. Some suggestions to keep it improving! Keep up the great work!

First of all, thank you so much for your review. It means a lot :) I totally agree with you on the support for folders/multi-day routines. I can't say any specific dates as it is a big task to build this, but this is definitely something that is on the roadmap. If you have more suggestions, don't hesitate to reach out at feedback@repcountapp.com Best Regards, Simon
  • Great Tracking App

Went through a few different apps and found this to be the best at both pre loaded and the ability to write in your own. The ability to duplicate a work out is great also. Great way to see what your max for an exercise is and to be able to review your leg to make sure you covering everything you want.

  • Everything that I needed

I used to track my workouts on legal pads. But no more. This app has everything that I need. It had all of the exercises that I do, and prompts you for the weights that you used last time. And it will prompt you for either the last time that u lifted, or the last time that u were doing that routine, of which I’ve created several. Great product.

  • Perfect for my needs

Easy to use. Simple interface without unnecessary bells & whistles. Tracking weights/reps during my workouts takes only a few clicks. I love how it auto-populates with your last weight and notes on that exercise so you don’t have to look it up. Also appreciate being able to save my routines for leg day, push day, etc.

  • A joy to use

I wanted an app that would let me set up a few workouts and log them without any hassle. This app delivers. The logging process is scrollable with your last weight and rep count filled in as placeholder text. This makes it extremely fast to move between exercises and easy to see where you are. Plus, I’m never waiting for it to load content I don’t care about.

  • Best Log App

I am a personal trainer and I have tested a lot of apps and this is the best. It does all the standard stuff well. Not bloated with useless features. Best notes feature as you have a note for each set and don’t need extra clicks to see your note in workout. Plus great developer support and response.

The only think I would love would be the option to have some of my notes per set to be permanent and some to be overwritten each workout- almost like a pinning feature.

  • Awesome app. Great way to keep track of weights and reps.

I think the app is great! I love the features. I do supersets in every workout, and the superset option is great when it works; however, sometimes the app won’t let me finish adding exercises to my superset. It worked yesterday, but today when I went to add a superset and clicked “add (2)” the app wanted me to create a new exercise. I tried closing the app, creating new exercises, adding more than one exercise to my superset and nothing worked.🤷🏻‍♀️

Update from a 4 star to 5 star: the developer got back to me in less than 12 hours and said that they have fixed it! Love this app.

Hi! It's Simon from RepCount again. Thank you for your updated review :) Just wanted to let you know that this was fixed in version 6.4.4 and you should be able to update if you haven't already ;) Best Regards, Simon
  • Fantastic

Best tracking app I’ve found so far! I think I will pay for the upgrade, but there’s two improvements I’d love to see after just using it for a few days. First, I’d love to have the option to log a strength/bodyweight exercise by either time or reps, as I do a lot of calisthenics, which includes a lot of static holds. Second, I’m not a huge fan of the exercise categories. For one, I don’t know why it is required that you choose a category for each exercise you add. Also, I’d like to have broader categories, as well as the option to select specific muscles. And maybe the option to select primary and secondary muscles (i.e. close grip bench press targets both triceps and chest). Overall, fantastic app though!

Hi! I am working hard on adding new exercise types and hopefully it won't be too long until it is done. Static holds is coming and improved statistics for bodyweight exercises. Beta testers have their hands on a first version as we speak ;) For the categories, you can easily add your own custom categories. But I do agree, that there should be an ability to add secondary groups. Categories are used for stats and for browsing, which is why it is required. There are pros and cons with having a category structure + search like RepCount compared to using a long list with filtering options that other apps use. If you want to continue the discussions, I'd love to hear more on how you would think RepCount could be improved to better support the style of workouts you are doing. • Use this app if you are dedicated and like seeing progress and statistics

I’ve literally never written an app review before but since I started using this app it makes keeping stats on my lifts and EVERYTHING so much easier. The premium of $8/yr is ridiculously underpriced for the value you get and it is much easier to use than other similar apps. I have thought about wanting to make something like this for a long time and have sorta tried on excel but I’m thankful this app found a place on my home screen. All in all I’ve found zero faults with the app and have had a great experience with it. Underrated for sure, I’ve never heard of anyone else using this app. Something I’m excited to check out is the “Export to excel” feature. Great job 👌🏻

  • Best Workout Tracking App

I have tried dozens of apps and none are as user friendly, customizable or intuitive as RepCount. It is well worth the money to have the full version even though I used the free one for a while and still was able to have everything I needed. With the added statistics in the pain version you can really see how you have improved over time. The developer is also really involved and willing to respond to you personally if you have any suggestions or issues. The app is always being updated with new/better features. Stop reading and hit Buy! #NotAPaidReview haha
