Great
Although this doesn't add much from the first Kingdom Rush, neither does it mess anything up from that great game. The gameplay is just as polished as it was before. Some of the other reviews complain about the in-app purchases, I can state from experience that these are completely optional and can be ignored while still completing the game.Show lessfishbait75
Love it but...
I love this game but a thing that could be improved on is how the artillery tower becomes either a ground pounder or a mech. Why not an expensive upgrade for it to make it a more powerful artillery mortar? I'm fine if they don't implement this but would be nice. Other than that this game is perfect, and full of secret references I love it. oh p.s READ THIS----> if you get the combination on the giant monkey level with the buttons on the right Indiana jones comes out and squashes the alien eggs YAY!!!Show lessRapster101747862569
Like everyone else says, Simply flawless.
You gotta love a game that inspires you to write an epic tale of a 30 second battle you just witnessed. Your wizards and enemy witchdoctors will fight over corpses either turning them into animated skeletons or zombies, respectively. This is what the Lord of the Rings should have been, had Sauron gained the Ring of Power, but maybe we'll see it in Day Z 2. 8). .. Haha, I mean World War Z 2.Show lessHellcab
Fun but very similar to first one
Have not finished but so far is essentially the same game as the first one with very few changes. Hero and gems seem a bit too money grubbing but haven't been necessary yet.
Was hoping for a bit more and may revise this up if later levels show more differences from the first game.Iain.S
Reasonable
In the original Kingdom Rush, before all the updates, there weren't any heroes. I kinda prefered it that way because I feel that the game is much less balanced with heroes. One particular skill of a hero when maxed out, just makes the game trivial. Introducing heroes is fun but at the end of the day it's another way to offer in game purchases. Like some, I thought it was rather expensive to purchase a 7 dollar hero. But then again, we don't need it to play the game. This is still one of my favourite tower defense games but I just thought the developers were kinda focused on trying to make more money.Show lessDavo31

Great fun!
I hadn't played the original, but my husband recommended this to me. It's such great fun choosing upgrades for your hero and your towers. It's nice that you can reset the points whenever you want too, to make different skill builds for different circumstances.
I love the feeling of improving as the game goes on.

This is my favorite TD games , it's unique , innovative and challenging . It's a rare defense game that you never get bored on every level . It's definitely my top 5 must have iOS games . But beware is addictive and hard .. 10 stars . Keep the updates rolling and hope the developer is working on another big titles .
Ps: hope the developer can make equipments , such as weapons , armor or increase more lv for the hero's for there next update . It's simply fun training and increase the strength of your hero's.Show lessMtai1235
