I don’t need anything fancy. I just need to keep track of my run and alert me of intervals. If I navigate away from the app to other apps or open and close other apps,  this app also closes. I had to restart the run 3 times. Guess that’s what free gets you.

**Developer response:** You were right, backgrounding killed runs in the old version. That has been fixed in the current release. Sorry it cost you three runs to figure that out.

I’d be quite happy with it if it didn’t keep closing down when I opened a different app mid-workout!!!

Honestly, having my entire run erased because I had to check a message with two minutes left is ridiculous.

**Developer response:** This was a real bug in the old build. The app has been fully rewritten and background crashes are fixed. Sorry we lost your run.

I want to like this app but it has stopped working on me during a workout. Also I want to be able to put it in my pocket but it gets accidentally bumped and pauses it. Would really like an update with these fixes.

I used this app regularly on my android phones. I used it on my Apple phone with the unpaid version for about a year. Finally, I decided that having the history would be nice and I thought I should contribute to the app development community. After paying for the paid version, the app crashes about 3/4 of the way through my runs. Sometimes I make it to the final cooldown, with prompts by the app, and when my run is complete, the app is back on the home screen with no record of the run. None.

Too many drop outs and freezes, even after paying to upgrade...it made no difference, I contacted the developer but they didn’t respond. If it worked it’d be an awesome app! I still use it but have to keep an eye on it all the time for drop outs...can’t put it i your pocket as close screen causes freeze.

App worked great for first 2 runs so I upgraded to Pro to take advantage of the other perks like tracking my runs. Voice prompt chimed in over my music to tell me when to run or walk and it was great. On my 3rd run app crashed when my phone locked and canceled out my current run. Voice prompt only worked when the phone was unlocked which isn’t practical on a run outside. I’d love to figure out how to get my $4.99 back.

**Developer response:** Fair criticism. The rewrite fixed the crashes and locked-screen tracking. Sorry it cost you so many runs.

I’m literally out running now 11/2/22 @4:46 and the app just stopped tracking my run and this is the 2nd time. I also paid for this so I don’t think I should have any problems. Just download the Nike run app trust me. I wish I could get a refund

Bought the premium Verizon thinking it would run better and no commercials. Absolutely horrible. Have to leave the app open with screen on for it to actually work and sometimes it would freeze when left open and screen on. Don’t buy or download. Waste of time

**Developer response:** You paid for a build that was broken. That is on us. The rewrite fixed the freezing and background issues.
