## What is 5th Pour?

Every bottle has a story. 5th Pour is bourbon's living record — a place to capture what a bottle meant, not what it costs.

Scan or search any bourbon and open its page: the stories, the takes, the people who poured it. Add your own. Build your bar. Track your hunt. Check in at festivals and tastings and leave your mark on the moment.

This isn't price tracking. It isn't ratings. It's the story of the bottle — the distillery behind it, the night you opened it, what it's meant in your life.

Pull up a stool.

### 5/5 — EXTRORDINARY

*2026-07-27*

This app made my life 10,000 times easier. As a person with little to no bourbon experience, it was difficult at first to find out what was best. Joseph Smith, the developer of the app, escorted us through a luxury experience throughout the bourbon world. He even showed me a sneak peek of his own bourbon company, that will be coming out soon👀. This man has some big ideas for the future. I think it would be wise to go ahead and download the app before it blows up, (they’re merch is amazing as well!!!) But do not believe it from me believe it for yourself. Download the app today!

- Editions of the same pour now share one conversation — stories and Bar Talk flow across the whole family, with a tag showing which bottle each came from.
- Bottles confirmed by the community stop asking you to double-check the label.
- Hand-picked viral finds now appear in The 5th — see who found each one.
- Adding a bottle shows you honestly where it stands while we check the label.

---Plus: story links now land exactly where they should, and label photos ride a smoother review pipeline.

Version 1.4.2
- When two bottles share a barcode, scanning it now shows every edition so you can pick the right one — and add a missing edition without losing what you entered.
