Upgrade the Controls!
I just bought all the series of Metal Slug in my iTouch to have fun just as the fun I used to experience when I played it in my childhood, but the controls of these games are not easy to handle. I am struggling more with my fingers than the with the soldiers. Upgrading the controls would definitely get rid off the one star to a five star... Please make it happen!Show lessiHouses
All wrong.
When I first found this game on iTunes, I was ecstatic, my childhood game that I used to play all the time was finally available to me through an app. But when I started to play it went downhill fast. First, it's not even optimized for the iPhone 6 so the game itself looks smaller, and second of all its extremely laggy for some reason. It takes him longer than it should just to jump, and the music is awful sounds like someone's who's tone deaf was autotuned. Smh. Please fix these things, make it better.Show lessAlexM715
Multiplayer false advertising
The game itself is a modern classic. The problem is that the Bluetooth does not work. I have an iPhone 6 plus and iPad Air 2. None of the metal slug games work on multiplayer. It really is false advertising. Has anyone gotten it to work?istuart45
Multiplayer has problems connecting
When you start the matching start it gives trouble connecting to the other player but otherwise the overall gameplay is goodBower jubee
Controls and Bluetooth doesn't work properly
The controls needs to be fixed. I keep dying like 10+ times before I can finish a mission. I'm having a hard time jumping and shooting. Game also lags a bit when shooting too much. I also can't play with a friend through Bluetooth. Name appears for a split second and then disappears. Please fix these issues.Show lessitzkayyy

Terrible controls to the point where skill matters not.
It's clear the designers realized this, which is why you start with literally 20 credits...
Poor frame rate. When s$&# hits the fan, the gameplay is awful.
Worst of all, no matter how far you get, if you quit the app you will have to start from the very beginning almost every time. Progress is NOT saved. That's ludicrous to me.
So basically you have to set aside 2 hours of your day if you want to try to beat the game... Just plain stupid. I'd like my dollar back...Show lessRusty Buffmetal
Fun game, god-awful controls
Please, for the love of god, fix the movement joystick. Make it bigger and make it where your character doesn't stop moving if you slide your finger off the lever when you're trying to run. Because of the horrible control design , it's almost impossible to beat that huge column-jaw robot thing on level 2 without dying 20 times. Control issue
I like that this game is remastered as an app for my phone. However, I'd feel better for my purchase if they controls would be fixed. The movement stick doesn't allow for my finger to move out of the range without stopping the character. The range of movement should be expanded or else I'm playing a game where I'm trying to move and get flanked with grenades because my character stops moving.Show lessAlbert Collado
