Where's the Dot Gain?
I bought this a while ago and everytime I go to use it, I can't seem to find the dot gain anymore. I restored purchases, but I still can't find it. I have images that show that I've used it, but still not finding it. This was why I bought this app.Lightboxr
Making the balloon tails curve the other way
It seemed like you can't change the curve of the word balloon tails to curve in the opposite direction. You have to scroll down in the Style menu to get to that option. It took me a while to figure out (thanks, person in charge of the Facebook page!). There's really no indication of being able to scroll down in that menu. I hope they add that in future versions. Great until now...
I have used Halftone 2 extensively in multi-page epics. The learning curve is steep, some of the controls are fiddly but it’s great for what I’ve wanted to do. Except in the past week, the app is losing my photos as I work on the projects to the point that I have to import them again and again and hope I can export the finished pages before they disappear again. It’s extremely frustrating because it’s a great app, but if you can’t save the raw files even while you’re working on them, what’s the point?Show lessChrisB in SEA

Fun App
I wish it were a little easier to use. Sometimes it takes me 3 or 4 tries to get everything looking like I want. Makes a nice short "video". At the end of the video is their "Made in HalfTone" plug. I wish I could pay a little to not have that show. Or how about letting the user customize that ending screen? It could say, "Made by (User's Name) with HalfTone". Maybe even let the user put their picture or avatar on it. Just a little more personalization and credit for the user instead of a blob like it is now. I think it is a big letdown for the receiver of the message to have that at the end. I mean Hallmark doesn't put their name in big letters underneath where one signs a card. My 2¢! I like the app. I would use it a lot more often without that bummer ending.Show lessfdavidn
Phenomenal tool!
I've used this app daily for months now. Import and export are excellent. Export in HQ almost 4k is amazing for an app. This took a couple days to get the full idea of how to work everything... But worth it for the amount of options and details. I've been making web comics for a long time and this has eased the process from hours to minutes.Show lessARYAN666
So close.
There are a couple things that need to be edited/added. First, custom sound effects. Being able to record your voice saying what your character says. Saving the entire comic as individual pictures at one time. More stamps or better editing for custom, one example is being able to cut around an emoji off the internet. Lower the in app purchases to maybe .99 ¢.

Save all feature disappointment
I have been using this app and it works fairly well, I have made about 60 images and I like the ease of use. I tried to save all the images instead of one at a time, but it instead made a video. There is an arrow button in the save screen that looks like it should go to a drop down tab in order to select save as images, but there isn't one. I would give 5 stars if I could save all of my images as images with one click.Show lessFlaw in app
Fantastic app!
I used this app in conjunction with Layout to create a comic book of my wedding. It's great! The interface is intuitive - so much so that my 7-year-old was able to figure it out and make her own comics. There are a lot of features in the app, and a lot of individual controls for the elements. I wish you could control the color of the stickers, but it's a minor thing.
