Pixel Art at its best 👌😚
I have purchased this app a some time ago I was pleased with a lot of features it had to offer now with there updates it give you more then what I expected. Now my art has expanded thanks to the creators they really know what a pixel artist needs. If you ever used SpriteSomething which is one of the best pixel app I purchased I believe both these app go hand to hand the best pixel apps in the AppStore.

This is absolutely phenomenal, there is so much variety to sprite-editing on this app that it exceeded my expectations of it when I first bought it for 2 bucks!
I especially love it that the imported photos are stretched to fit the right ratio, so I can I trace over template sheets.Abstract Sponges
Great for animation and 8 bit game artwork
This has quickly become my favorite tool for making 8 bit art. I love photoshop, but this is the tool if you are making 8 or 16 bit art for games.1221fffghjkj

So far, this app has allowed me to do everything I've wanted to do when planning ANYTHING for Minecraft, and other pixel art projects I've been working on!

In the nick of time
I was looking for exactly this. Allows me to casually work when I'm not on my PC or laptop. Supports all the features I come to depend on. $2 is a bargain. Now if they could figure out a way to port this to the iPhone, I'd never have an excuse to stop. ;)Dax552
Very intuitive!
Simple, yet this pixel art app seems very flexible. I'm maybe an hour into using it and can already create art for my projects exactly how I want. I'm definitely going to be using this a lot.
I haven't totally broken it in yet, of course, but I'd recommend it for the price.
Update: After more time with it, I still really like the app but feel it's missing some core functions, like being able to easily draw certain shapes or have a ruler that marks points on your canvas to easily find the middle, for instance. Great app, great developer!
I've tried quite a few pixel art apps and while some were good, none had been great until I found Pixely. It has a great interface and a really fantastic set of tools and the settings allow you to customize the app to your liking.
Also, not only does the developer, Mark Marchione, take feedback into consideration, he encourages it and responds quickly to any suggestions or questions. To go a step further, if he uses your suggestion he acknowledges you for it in the app's update notes, as he just did with my suggestion of being able to hide the pixel outlines.

Getting lost and frustrated
I love pixel art, as a matter of fact I am busy with a pet project and wanted to do some concepts on the iPad. This app has such huge potential, yet the design of features overshadows the functionality. HCI principles comes first, getting lost due to unfamiliar tool menu was an immediate challenge, secondly I can't import png's I have already done on the iPad. Change the last one, or just make it more obvious in the interface and you have gold and a 5 star review from me.Show lessSir Damato III
