Love this game. I used to play it all the time. I just purchased it again because I had it on other devices. I keep having this problem where whenever I try to find other people's maps it says it cannot reach the servers
  • Amazing game but please advertise

Best mobile multiplayer tower defense game ever. Theirs just one problem though, and its that nobody plays online anymore, so I just wanna ask the developers to please advertise this game.
  • Update?

I first thought the lack of updates was the fact that Manet the creators are "dead" aka not making anymore or updating anymore but I saw a very popular game they updated on December 20th. I wish they kept updating but this game is still worth a 5 star review. There's some stuff they could add to the game that would bring more people to it.

  • Buttons to small

I am a fan of this series however after downloading cubemen 2 on the iPhone 6+ I am a little upset I can't play. The buttons in the game are so small even on this 6.4 in screen. They are positioned along the edges and grouped tight together. I have small hands and my pointer finger covers all 4 buttons on the bottom right during game play. Since the game has zoom ability they really should have made them larger as there is still a lot of open space on the screen to where they will not effect game play.

Please release an update with an option to enlarge the buttons during game play. Once this is done I will be able to play and will gladly give 5 stars

  • Good tactics, runs dry quick

This is definitely a decent tactics game, but it seems to get boring after playing a few levels because there's not much diversity besides the layout of the levels, and to even unlock other skins you have to pay 99c for both level and "cubeman" skins. Otherwise, every level looks the same. Gameplay-wise, its a real time strategy/tower defense game based on wireframe, and it plays decently on IPad 4. If you like fast paced strategy and don't mind some repitition, I would recommend this, but I would rather suggest Final Fantasy Tactics if you're looking for a good tactical experience. The levels are pretty small and the action very fast, s its much more like tower defense than a command and conquer or Warcraft-style game

  • Great Game

I have this game also for the PC, but I love this game so much I got it on my iPad. Here are some issues I am having: 1. This game was made for the PC: it's like they to the PC version and slapped it on the iDevice with no rhyme or reason, it crash a lot (even for a iPad so I feel bad for you iPod users) and the controls are bad not so much game wise but making a map wise with brings me to 2. The servers are down for maps: in the PC version has a lot of maps to chose from, but once I got on the iPad version I thought it was either my internet connection was screwed up or not a lot of people place this game or they don't like making maps (which is really bad from the start) then I made my map but wood not let me. Please fix these

  • Awesome

I've been waiting for a live action strategy game for ipad for a long time and this is it! The graphics are average but the gameplay is great especially online. The only thing is the "Elite" difficulty offers little more resistance than the easiest level so playing against a human is a must. The game is very good to say the least, and the developers want to make it even better. I'd give this game a 9.4 out of 10

  • Second rate cubes of manliness?

I like the idea of this genius if not somewhat quirky strategy based army builder. Basically replicating a "modern" version of chess in real time I'll often find myself scrambling to to decide a good placement of men throughout the entire game making it quite challenging. Unfortunately it still seems to be plagued by many bugs just as the first version was. However there is good news, developer support was quite strong with the first game often squashing many if not all bugs so hopefully that won't change. Time will tell rather this sequel is worth the $1.99 price.

  • Work in progress

I love the concept of the game and it is fun to play. I still would purchase the game at $2 even with the short comings. It is an indie game and so I have to give the devs props for making it this far. The app is buggy and will crash sometimes which is frustrating. I believe it stems from developing the game using the unity framework for multiple OS's. This is appealing as a dev to reach the biggest audience but I believe that we get spoiled on iOS and begin to expect that you will make games natively for apple devices. I would rather wait to play a less buggy game than get frustrated because you tried to launch availability to the whole world at once. Also I would love for the ability to host games locally for times when I want to play against friends in the same room but lack Internet access.

All in all I love the game, love indie devs, but wish these guys didn't cut corners and instead developed a platform specific version for iOS.

  • Great RTS TD

It's a fun combination. I haven't played all the game modes but there seems to be a lot of replay value. Do the tutorial. Dlc is expensive for what it is but does not interfere with the gameplay.
    However,
It always crashes after a while on my ipad mini,
Camera controls aren't standard. Two fingers should pan not rotate. Also not responsive for zooming.
Overall it's good though, but it's probably better for Mac which I'll get if its on sale.
