My Daily Bread
My wife and I start every day with this devotional. It was discovered by her in the mid-1980s among her mother’s books when she passed away. The “two listeners,” two anonymous women in England in the 1930s, wrote these amazingly prophetic words in the first-person voice of Jesus. Like the Bible itself, each day’s writing seems to address just what you are going through. This comparison has made God Calling controversial but trusted application of it should assure the reader that God continues to speak to the faithful who are willing to stop and listen. My wife and I do prison ministry and have purchased hundreds of copies of God Calling for inmates, and have been told by them that, next to the Bible, it is the most valuable book they have. I really like this devotional. It’s very helpful. I just wished that the Favorites tab actually worked. When I had my other phone, it worked. But not now... Other- wise it’s a wonderful app.Beloved Angel

The wisdom in this book is life giving and life changing. It is interesting to note that the two women who authored God Calling are anonymous and take no credit for themselves thus allowing for all glory to be given to God. I have owned a copy of this book since the 1980’s. I’ve worn them out and given several away to friends in need of prayer and guidance. I was so happy to see this book in app form. It is easily accessible and user friendly.grounuplucy
