Spoilt by in-app adds...

Updated today and now find that the developer proudly supports iAdds... I spent good money to support the developer with purchase of most of the additional chess sets. I now find that the main reason for purchase of the app as mentioned in my original review below to enjoy the beautiful chess sets is ruined by the inclusion of tacky advertising. Toggling the notifications setting in options to 'Off' seems to sometimes switch the adds off but frankly, having spent the money I have I believe I should not be seeing adds at all. It is the developers choice to include adds in a premium priced product (after I have purchased the additional chess sets) - it is my choice to now delete the app.

If I had the money and space, my house would be full of wonderful and varied chess sets. Since I have neither money nor space in abundance, this app is the next best thing, particularly as the chess engine seems strong. The inclusion of problems to solve is an added bonus. My only suggestions for improvements would be the addition of an opening moves database, and maybe tweaking of colour schemes as some of the set configurations can be a little hard to distinguish. However, these are minor criticisms and marking down by 1 star to 4 stars seems harsh. If you love chess, and love beautiful and stylish chess sets don't hesitate.

Great but crashes constantly
Great game, good resources for beginners. But after purchasing some extras in-app it has started crashing constantly. Completely unusable now :( would be 5 stars if this wasn't the case.

About full game pack
I've purchased full game pack (spending 8.99$) but didn't get the all chess sets. Every time after downloading upto 99% it's automatically restarting. Need help...
Love it, just a problem downloading pieces
Love the game, only down side is i purchased the roman pieces and it downloads to 100% then starts again and it just keeps going.

This game is like every day chess
Nice looking but connectivity issues
This is a rather good looking 3D chess app but only once you've paid for a set of pieces as the basic set have a mere feel of draughts pieces. Have bought a set and it has transformed the feel of the game. However, currently having issues playing 2 player online - it often cannot connect to a server and the game won't update moves for maybe 30 mins

Beautiful atmospheric chess game!
Love the style and attention to detail that has gone into this game, and the classical accompaniment is wonderful. The only thing that is annoying me is that you cannot change chess sets or environments on the fly - there is no option for it in the settings when you pause a game. Currently, the only way of choosing a new chess set to play with is to start a new game, select your desired playing set from the initial options, exit the new game once it starts, then join your old one again. It uses the one you selected for the new game and swaps them. I'm doing the checkmate challenges right now and it's a pain to have to come out of it and create a new match then delete it, all because I want to switch the chess set I'm playing with. PLEASE FIX THIS!
