Images many times have very small text that is unreadable and the new “peeps” doesn’t allow you to enlarge the images to read the text. **Developer response:** Good point, and thanks for the feedback. Since the update, the app is a mess. I am now on the hunt for a new app. **Developer response:** We're constantly working to make 63red better. Now the stories are lined up horizontally instead of vertically, and it is no longer easy to scroll from one story to the next: after reading an article, a stop must be made for a command to re-list all the articles. Also, once an article is read it is removed from the lineup, which makes it impossible to go back to a story when that is desired. Latest one is of a meme where Trump is saying the name of God in vain. ### 3/5 — Crashing *2022-10-31, version 18.0.5* I have to uninstall and reinstall this site several times a day on my IPad. When it is working, it is great but the page goes to the grey screen of death with the slightest touch. It works fine on my phone! I can’t figure out what to do other than start over at the App Store when using my IPad. Otherwise, I really like the site. ### 4/5 — Welcome page *2022-10-25, version 18.0.5* It would be nice to get rid of the welcome page since it takes up 1/3 of the main screen and serves no useful purpose that I can see. ### 1/5 — totally screwed up a great site *2022-10-05, version 18.0.5* the old version was simple and worked so of course they had to let a bunch of kids screw it up.. now links wont load because of a 1200 ssl connection error..about half the time on main pages and everytime on internal links.. i have no idea what imaginary advantage they thought they were providing ### 1/5 — What happened to the news?!?!? *2022-09-13, version 16.4.0* I’m subscribed to every site listed and every hour on the hour I could refresh and get a dump of articles. On a slow day that would be 8-10 every hour, on a big news day more than I could keep up with. Now?!? If I’m lucky if I get 2 or 3 articles an hour sometimes I have to wait 2-3 hours for those new articles. I’m a grown adult and can decide for myself when I want a break! It’s absolutely the worst feature ever added to any app! Based on recent reviews I’m not only one who had this experience. I almost wonder if some insider went left and is destroying it on purpose. Thanks for fixing. *2022-07-15, version 14.0.0* UPDATED REVIEW: After about 2 months of not being able to open the ap, it is working again. Not sure I love the changes but we’ll see. OLD REVIEW: This has been my bread and butter news ap for years. I read it several times a day and at least once each day with my kids. In the last couple of weeks it will not open. I have uninstalled/reinstalled but the ap will not open at all. ### 5/5 — Latest Update *2022-07-07, version 12.1.2* First of all, I love this app. The latest update, however, does not work on my iPad. It opens, takes forever to load, and when it is done loading, none of the articles will open. No quick read, no nothing. It works great on my phone, but not the tablet. Please fix it. I tried shutting the whole tablet down and restarting, but it didn’t help. UPDATE: Finally, I was able to get the app to work. I had to completely delete it, shut down my iPad, then restart it and download the app again. It was worth it. Now this app is so unstable it seems totally incapable of delivering anything other than headlines. It was once my second and second to last app I would run everyday, but now I am uninstalling it.
