Relaxing, addictive but now with fatal ads
Nice app with a wide range of beautiful pictures. I love being able to change the size and shape of the pieces...rotating or not. There are some annoying little glitches, preventing this from getting a 5. Sometimes the pieces will freeze and you have to wait several seconds to be able to move them again. Very occasionally the entire app will crash and close. None of this prevents me from opening it up and enjoying it almost every day though!
Update: Yesterday I would have given this app 5 stars. I updated 2 days ago and the look and feel are smoother and very nice. Today the initial ad came on (a new one for a paint by number app). There was no way to turn it off, which is fine, as I am getting this for free, but even after the app's video was over, there was no way to the puzzles. No "x," no buttons except the one to buy the app. Otherwise just black screen. Poked around the screen, hopefully. Nada. Went to the app that was advertised and came back and there was still seemingly no button to get me to the puzzles. 🤷🏼♀️ I would give the app 0 stars if I knew this was permanent. I'm hopeful that I will actually see puzzles again on the puzzle app and not just an offer I "can't refuse."Show lessT de P
How do I get the version before back!
I have been completely addicted for for several years now and loved doing these puzzles .... but I have just completed an update and thought initially it looked good but what have you done with the size of the screen! I enjoy doing these puzzles on my iPad in landscape mode and it almost filled my screen but now it’s a much smaller square! Why have you done this? Come on guys put this back as it was, this is not a good move and has certainly put me off wanting to buy or enjoy doing these puzzles any more. You were a cut above the rest for this very reason. Why spoil this wonderful popular app. I would have given you 5 stars as I have enjoyed doing these puzzles so much ... but now I am really disappointed.Show lessLife's a Puzzle
Upgrade disappointment!!!!!
I have used this app for years and always enjoyed it, but the latest couple of upgrades have been frustrating and today’s even more so. The changing of where things are is frustrating when you have worked it for years and your fingers automatically go. I liked the pieces on the side and do not like them at the bottom! Imagine my dismay when a puzzle I had spent hours working on suddenly had no pieces on the board they had gone to the pieces area. When I went out to figure out what had happened and if there was a way to undo the action for I did not even think I had touched anything. When I found where they had out the in progress puzzles, the one I had just been working on was not even there. I can’t seem to find it! Sorry guys, but this is not acceptable, that you can accidentally lose all the work you have done and there is no way to put it back!
I am amazed that I received a response to this review from the company. I appreciate their answers and concerns about my experience and willingness to take into account what I am concerned about. This is why I am updating my review. There is one comment they made which is not true in my case. If all the pieces have exited your board accidentally, and you close down the free daily puzzle it does not save it in the puzzle in progress, it just disappears.Show less2busy4me

We appreciate your opinion, and we definitely will take it into account and use it to improve the next versions of the App. The unfinished puzzles are saved in the “Play Puzzles” section automatically every time you exit them. They are collected in a green folder named "In Progress". To return to the previous board version, please force an app to close and then open it again. Here’s how you can do it:1. Double-click the Home button/swipe up from the bottom of the screen 2. Find the app’s preview 3. Love these puzzles and the app was great until the recent update. Any chance of having the ability to change where the jigsaw pieces sit? It used to be on the right hand side but now it is at the bottom which makes the jigsaw area smaller and I find it annoying having to swipe the pieces from the bottom. Please please give the option to put it back to the right. If it wasn’t for this recent update I would have been happy to score the app five stars.Show lessVicMWT

Love my Puzzle App!
I’m absolutely addicted to this puzzle app and have used it for a long time, every day. I loved the fact that you can change the number of pieces and rotate or not rotate. I also love the enormous choices I have. Some one said the pieces no longer flash when the puzzle is nearly finished. Maybe they don’t realise just near where you choose border or not, are two little tabs that you can get all the pieces left onto the screen or all off. So if I have four pieces to find I just click on the one that pulls the pieces onto the screen and there are my four pieces. Sometimes when I get too many pieces on the screen I use the other tab to pull off all the single ones. No need for the flashing. I hope this app keeps going for a long time. My fie yer old is also addicted and is naturally very good at doing them including rotating. Enjoy doing the daily puzzle but make it easy by doing big pieces!! Five stars!Show lessRakanne

Could we go back to being able to reduce the sound effects?
You put a Father Christmas hat on the icon on my home screen. Now that Christmas is over, could that be removed please?
Funny things seem to be happening to the pieces when I start a new puzzle. Sometimes they are in a jumble in the middle. Some times they are in the side panel, but grouped, with all edge pieces together. Sometimes the puzzle tries to go into portrait mode when I am playing on a landscape screen. It all takes a bit of sorting out
I actually preferred the previous version to the current one
Another question. Would it be possible to add the location of the picture when you show the non-jigsaw version after it is completed. That would would be so interesting

Name the pictures on the puzzles.
Please name the pictures on the puzzles. For instance I do not know if Saturday Feb. 16, 2019 is a massive cathedral, municipal building or a castle. The puzzle needs a name.

I’ve never been a jigsaw person. I dl this app for Miss 5yo grandbaby‘s education. My DH is a jigsaw tragic. Between them, they have me enjoying jigsaws.
I love that the number of pieces can be adjusted from 4 up to 1000+.
Finally, i love that there are free puzzles, frequent specials and a one-off in-app for ad-free free version.
PS: to the people who complain about both ads *and* an in-app purchase for ad free: Do the math. Then go develop an app (unfunded), pay the costs of compliance with Apple/App Store (also unfunded), maintain the app (also unfunded) continue R&D (also unfunded) so you can constantly upgrade the app in order to make it workable with every ioS upgrade, keep a moving stream of content (also unfunded) so users can stay engaged, nottomention standard daily overheads - including maybe rent, food . . .
Keep it up for, say, seven years — then write reviews about how you think the price of a cup of coffee (say two cups, for argument’s sake) is too much to ask for this app. Or, for for matter any app.

iPad game.
Can you please tell me why I can not play this on my iPad in horizontal position. Since the latest update, it is now only possible to access while iPad is vertical and the screen is much smaller. I used to play this daily and recommended it to many others, but now cannot play it anymore. Please help?
I sent this a few weeks ago, and no one has responded. Please tell me what I have to do to get this to load on my iPad, horizontal or landscape position. NOT vertical to portrait position. I have tried other jigsaws, but none were as good as this until you changed it. Now I don’t play anymore, and have had to make do with other makes.Show lessEPerris
