Annoying if you change device

When you offer a Share Log and Import Log. Why oh why have you set it so export the log is in a DIFFERENT FORMAT TO THE IMPORT? So if you send it to a new device your log WON’T Import. If you need double spaces after the name for import then add them to the export log. Then import will work. Isn’t that BLOODY OBVIOUS???

Response from developer

Hello Neil. It would be nice if you would be polite. I don't build free apps for rude people! The Share Log feature is OBVIOUSLY in exactly the same format with the double spaces. I don't know what you have done wrong. You may want to apologise.

Love It!

Living a distance away from the Lakes, my time is precious and which Wainwrights I can bag is limited, so this is a great way to track them! My only suggestion would be to add the rank number of the Wainwrights - so when I’m looking for one I can see the elevation but also whether it’s 5th highest or 150th ☺️

Great, useful app!

Highly recommended for tracking your Wainwrights

Great App

I have just completed the Eastern Fells and have used this app to record my progress. I have found it invaluable and I get a great deal of satisfaction when I tick a fell off after a walk.

Whinlatter?

Great app but I think the Whinlatter pin is in the wrong place?

Response from developer

Thanks for drawing my attention to the Whinlatter summit issue. I've checked Wainwright's guide book and the Wainwright top of Whinlatter fell is actually at Brown How (he calls it western top), which at the time he wrote the guide was shown on OS maps as the highest point. He remarks on how the eastern top (marked on OS Maps now as Whinlatter Top) appears to be equally as high. The Database of British and Irish Hills (at hillbagging.co.uk) also categorises Brown How as a Wainwright rather than Whinlatter Top.

A very useful tool but no cloud backup?

A very useful and easy to use tool and I have been entering all of my summits however I cannot see how to ensure the app backs up to iCloud as it is not recognised by the Apps list?

Response from developer

The app should be backed up to iCloud like all other apps. As a backup you can use the "Share my log" feature on the Fells page to send yourself an email with a list of fells climbed with dates. If you get a new phone/tablet and find that iCloud hasn't backed up the app properly then you can use the "Import log" feature to paste in your list of climbed fells.

Easy way to keep track

Great app 👏🏻

Useful tool for both planning & recording

As a long term walker of the Lakeland fells this is a great app to aid planning and, once conquered, recording your progress. The map feature is the most useful screen (IMHO) giving a quick and way of looking what was left and where to base myself for my next trip.

Excellent App

I’ve found this app really useful to see progress and especially to find the next ones to do. The new topo layer is a real bonus too. Brilliant !

Brilliant App

Couple of suggestions to improve it even more...

1/. Height in feet as well as metric which some of us still find useful.

2/. Progress in each category eg Mountains.
