Was great til the triple tap button went away

This was an awesome app for years, but with an update the triple click button has ceased to work. This is a little critical as it takes away a third of screen free button options. Please fix.

Only small improvements needed

Fantastic app. Allows me to sync my podcasts across iOS and Android devices, even reflecting % played at the episode level. Two requests:

1) Show an AirPlay icon on the Now Playing screen, so users can stream to a nearby device while playing from their phones.

2) Add and consolidate “How many episodes to keep” in Global Settings. Right now, I configure this across three settings at the podcast level.

THE most capable podcast app

If you’re looking for a podcast app that goes beyond a basic featureset, this is it. Mark chapters, customize the your visuals, make notes… this app blows everything else on the App Store away. Everything else seems basic and stripped down. The one thing other apps might have is slightly slicker UI. I searched far and wide when i had to leave behind Podcast Addict during my switch to ios. Also the premium version of this app is a ONE TIME fee NOT a subscription!!! Thank you Podcast Republic for challenging the subscription model of leeching people’s wallets with countless recurring fees.

Android is Better

The iOS version of the app is not as well developed as the Android version. The IOS layout doesn’t seem to scale based on the screen size but rather has a standard size making it difficult to select certain things. It will select an item above or below or not switch. Used the app for years on Android and sad bc would like to continue because IMO it’s the best podcast app but simple things do not work.

This app adds nothing into the podcast. The ads you hear inside the podcast are provided by the podcast publishers. Please contact the podcast publisher directly if you have any concerns about the ads you hear. Regarding the syncing issue, I'm not able to reproduce that. Please make sure you have not blocked this app's domain "podcast-republic.net", or whitelist that domain if you have firewall setup.

Love the app

I have been using PR for about a year now. I discovered it when I briefly switched to Android and was looking for an alternative to Pocket Casts.
I love PR’s level of customization and how quick it is. I also like its UX and overall feel.

I deeply respect the developers' work and the frequency and diligence with which they release updates and bug fixes.

I can’t choose what/when to download episodes

I was liking this on android but somehow l can’t seem to get it right on iOS

Literally the best podcast app!

I just want to fall asleep listening to my podcasts. I’m up to date on one so I like to go through the episodes at random. This is the only app that has a shuffle. And I can favorite the episodes and shuffle just the favorites. It’s the best. I love this app.

Another Try

Been using the app for about 7 years on Android. Then it seemed after every app update imbedded ads were adding time to podcasts meaning would have to adjust the beginning skip and end times for each, sometimes daily. Seems no cross syncing even when signed in. Attempted to switch to IOS but app didn’t sync all playlists and tags. Like it had a limit or something. Attempted to export OPML file and when importing to another app, said file was not valid, for multiple apps. No option to export to a place other than the phone storage. Idk what happened to the app. Thought it was the best ever but been months still attempting to sync and still didn’t work. The devs are active but generic default responses leave with the same probs persisting.
