Thoughts on the app
The app is good but could definitely use some updates to make it more user friendly and appealing. Don’t get me wrong the app isn’t bad right now it’s already an amazing place to post and share with others information and actions related to being more sustainable as a community. That’s being said, I’ve seen apps that really engage the user through a really cool UI and think that Earth5R could update theirs . I say this as a person who has conducted an internship with Earth 5R and can say that even though I feel this way it doesn’t take away from the amazing goal the app is trying to achieve. Just image if people spent as much time on this app as they do on Tik Tok or Instagram. On second thought maybe Earth 5R should add a section for short form content for people to educate others on how they are taking action to help the environment by being sustainable and eco-friendly.

My experience
I believe this app is great and it is very easy to interact with. I used this app for my internship with Earth5R and it broadened my knowledge on the environment and to increase sustainability. Since my internship leaned more on writing posts on how psychology could promote helping the environment it allowed me to explore psychology in a way that is not done in my classes allowing me to educate myself and others on the app on my findings. The internship also had us do challenges, which further promoted sustainability as it got people to be proactive rather than just read and do nothing.
