Incredible game
Ancient gods combines the best mechanics of slay the spire with the collection mechanics if genshin impact, but with tons of rewards and a generous pull rate to boot. There is so much to do in the game, and the music and character art is aesthetically soothinggoldbot123
Save file deleted
Had to come back and write a 1 star review. The game told me to save (crazy its not automatically linked to my account) then proceeded to tell me there was a conflict with my save data, and then restarted. Once it started up all my save data had been lost and there was no other save data i could load. Terrible designShow lessCyndxrs
Decent Game, A bit clunky.
I’m enjoying the game so far, if you buy the starter pack you can avoid ads which is nice. Personally I’d rather pay a bit more and just buy the whole game but I get it.
My only really gripe is how clunky the game can feel. When compared to something like slay the spire the game feels a bit slow. My biggest issue though is the inconsistency in apple pencil support. It would be nice to be able to play cards with the apple pencil instead of my finger. As it stands i often misplay a card because my finger hovered over a different card and i couldn’t see it all too well.Show lessGreat but

Poorly explained, clunky, boring, and expensive
The “press this” now “this” … “congratulations you’ve accomplished something” teaching mechanic often left me wondering what I did and should I do more, where am I now in the interface, and how can I get back here once I leave. The fight mechanics are clunky: discard a card, cast a card or two, end turn, a couple numbers appear, health bars change. “Yawn, well that’s like two mimes fighting”. To get to the fights there is a fair bit of dialog you need to read which I also find tiring. Lastly this is a gatcha game with many currencies and I can tell will be expensive to play. I was looking for something more along the lines of “Night of the full moon” or “Slay the Spire” two much better deck builder games.Show lessFrGuidoSarducci
Actually one of the best card games in the store
I was a little timid to dive into the game, as there are a lot of moving parts and mechanics. That said, once you start finding the play styles that you enjoy the game is quite a breathe of fresh air in a rather saturated market.
There is clearly a lot of love and care put into this game, and it shows. The asking price for no Ads is more than fair. Truly a hidden gem.Show lessGreenGiller
Doesn’t work
Game has a problem RN with deleting progress. You can buy from the app and the game will just decide to undo it but keep your money. The thi my s you but can’t even be refunded through apple. It’s literally just stealing from peopleDeselnopun

I just love this game , diversity of decks, complex strategy it’s easy to learn but hard to master, relaxin music in game is fantastic too but often like to play with heavy metal bagrand it’s somehow suite here .
Can’t wait to see what gods gonna be introduced in next update

Terrible
It’s like other rogue likes but the game is playing against you sometimes. I’ll have a 22 card deck with 17 attack cards and the game will wait for a turn where I would need it to decide I drew every card but an attack. It happens everytime I get to the end so either play with only attack cards in your deck and hope you get a removal or just don’t play. If you try the game will screw you over anyway. Not just like that either. I defeated the last boss only for these effects to apply: take 42k dmg on your next turn and you cannot kill the enemy. Also health doesn’t matter. You have 12k at the highest? Cool, average attack later is 24k. Not even at max levelShow lessGreat game, highly recommend
