  • Poorly balanced.

Shallow and repetitive gameplay that actually gets worse at higher levels. So many curses and jinxes added that it kills all of the fun. The game has a lot of good things about it but the terrible endgame overshadows them.
  • Well Balanced and Not Greedy (Download now)

Most games of this sort have an 'intended way of play,' by which I mean the game will punish you for not doing it the 'right way.' (Said right way being fast burst damage)

This game? Nope, I haven't yet found a niche build this won't accomodate.

I want to play a stall build? Fine, take it to the end. Shield build? There's a class for that. Mega draws and card replication? Might have a little trouble just because of how OP it can be they put some breaks on. Chip damage? Yeah, we can do that. Mixes of the above? Oh yeah, geared for it.

  • Very underrated game

    Very underrated and fun
  • Remove it please

I basically rage quit half the time when I run into a corrupted fountain and I run into them constantly. At least take out that cursed artifact thing. It’s infuriating
  • Amazing game! One small suggestion

I never write reviews, but this game is just phenomenal. I don’t stress to play everyday, but there’s daily rewards for people that want it. The theming is nice and cohesive, the gameplay has a nice curve. I haven’t tried the endless mode, but I assume it’ll be great. All the characters have unique play styles and almost every character is playable. This makes the gacha element very minimal, so I’m not just trying to roll 1 or 2 characters. Only suggestion is to add more gods, specifically more eastern ones. Overall, this game is fun, enjoyable, and something nice to play if you have some spare time.

  • Fun to play

I really like this game. It’s easy to play but involves strategy to win the battles. I appreciate that I can play offline. Even though it appears easy it still is challenging to play. I like the different characters that I can use as my heroes. I enjoy switching them out and learning the different abilities each has. There is a lot more to the game that I’m still learning such as enhancing my heroes. Adding gems to cards and trying to avoid cursed cards. Definitely recommend.

  • Great game going in wrong direction

The original game with endless run was great. So great that I bought the starter packages to show support for the game. Building your deck while trying to stay alive through inclining stage difficulty was worth the time invested. Dying means you have to discard the deck you have worked so hard to build, and cash out the rewards you gathered(minus 25%). That formula could have easily been monetized and I would have gladly used premium currency(paid$$) to keep my hard earned run and deck going. This new update with Chaos Island is not it. Quick stages that have no time to build the deck that suits your play style. It’s unfulfilling as your deck build is discarded as soon as the stage level is over, so the desire to build another deck for the next stage becomes a repetitive chore. Maybe this works with new players or some people, but not for me or veteran players who have been long awaiting an update. Improve on the formula you had before with the endless run. It is the main reason I played and the one element that kept my attention. This is just my experience and opinion.

    Developer Response

We understand how you feel right now, but to ensure the balance of the game we have to do it. In the future we will launch a feature that allows players to customize the starting deck, it will help your problem be solved. Sincere apologies and thanks for the feedback.
  • F2P friendly!

Extremely f2p friendly, I am greatly enjoying the game. Chaos Island is a little difficult, but I figure I just need more progress on missions.
  • Is fun, but lacks variety

The game actually feels free to play and gives you many characters just by doing the early levels. Each character does feel fun to play and plays different enough to stand out between each other. Even the starting characters feel good and usable. However I’ve noticed a major issue while playing Endless mode, which seems to be this games main mode since it’s the best way to gain currency to earn new characters and get material to upgrade characters. The issue I have is endless makes it extremely noticeable the lack of variety in this game. After only a few fights, you’ll start to notice a large amount of already owned cards and in no time you’ll have sets of five same cards in no time if you don’t start skipping all the duplicates. It does seem like they try to make you card pool options after a win be options that work the best with your character, but that makes your options for card diversity so small. That’s probably why you only get two card options and it makes the replay value boring since you pretty much know what cards you’ll always get.. A way I see them fixing this is I’d the gave you a third option that maybe was a card meant for another character and that card usually wouldn’t work, which is what the first two choices would be for, but if you for the occasional wild card that happened to work, then that would encourage diversity in builds. Right now the game says, “here’s your small set of cards you can use and there’s no mixing it up which makes your endless mode quickly boring, since there’s no spicing up builds with the character you’re playing. If you wanna play a different play style you need to just lose and choose a different character, which puts endless mode a weird ln a weird spot.

I like the game, but due to the lack of variety I don’t know how long I’ll keep playing it.
