Great game, but almost unplayable
Often the onscreen controls randomly dissappear. You can still play but you have no idea how much fuel is left etc. Major graphics problems.Stusic

Apple’s review system is weird, but I’m still something wrong
I was trying to go back in and delete a bug report section of my review dealing with missing high scores per vehicle per stage. I suspect I was confused about runs logged against mars vs alien planet.
This may also be a user screw-up, but I swear i’m seeing a glitch when I am landing a vehicle after really long glides off the surface. It lasts about 1/60 or 2/60 s second on my iPhone 12. The vehicle seems to get instantly get stopped for 1/60 of a second, then it essentially resumes the physics I expected. It is possible I am seeing a physics effect of instantaneous slowdown due to slowing caused by stopped wheels regaining their speed, but it seems too abrupt, and only happens maybe once every five runs.Show lessNetMammal

I started with this version, so I had to learn using it. I got so frustrated that I tried the freemium versions, and found Hill Climb 2 to be much more enjoyable, to the point I’m thinking of paying for the ad free version. (as a side note, who at this point on the planet is not aware of Royal Match, and finally says, ah why not?)
Isn’t the point of paying Apple a monthly fee so you get great games? Boo on Apple for not vetting this version!
BTW, if you’re starting out, swipe through a whole bunch of vehicles, and you’ll find a “Super Hill Climber” for 10 coins. I wish I’d started grinding on that one before hitting the miserable grinding stage on the original.
HC2 has a bunch of other type races which are more fun than repeatedly hearing your neck snap.
It may be that if you have mastered HC, HC+, rewards with decent progress, but I just get frustratedShow lessDeveloper Response

Pedals and break disappear from the screen as well as the pause button, can’t see gas gauge. This has been going on since the last update. Please fix this and I will change my review.Dragon2882

I love this game. It's fun to play when you have time to kill. However, there are a few major issues.
1. The coins and upgrades are incredibly unbalanced. It would take many many many hours to just unlock all the cars. In addition to which, each car has individual upgrades which go up in price every time you purchase one.
2. The customisable car is fun for about 5 minutes. It gets very old very quickly and I don't really see the point of it.
3. The challenges are insanely difficult and nearly impossible to complete.Show lesswachawacha
BUG!!! PLEASE FIX
In settings you can choose to hide the pedals but when you quit the game and reopen they are back. All other settings toggle off and stay off except this one. Thank you.speed cuber
