Super clean and easy app, growing vinyl marketplace

Barcode search doesn’t work
Response from developer
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! The barcode scanner can only find things that are searchable within our database. As people suggest records to our database, those records will become scannable. We’re very early into our project and we’re confident that as our community grows, so too will our capabilities. Cheers!

Poor handling of sales
Response from developer
Howdy from Moose Vinyl, First and foremost, thanks for selling with Moose. We can’t build the best independent marketplace for vinyl collectors, buyers and sellers without people like you. We made sure that this transaction went through and your sale was honored. Every day we’re working to make this product better for both buyers and sellers and in this case, we made sure to fix the shortcoming in our code, fulfill the transaction and maintain communication with you the entire time. We did everything in our power to make things right for you and we would do that for any one of the users in our Moose Pack. Cheers!
Awesome, Seamless App
Moose Got Me Loose
The functionality of the app is very smooth. This thing will only get cooler as the collection of vinyl grows. I’m excited to share some of my favorite gems & to have a chance at finding those records that have forever eluded me.
Love it
Perfect for Vinyl Collectors!
I recently got into vinyl collecting and I love how straightforward the UI is. They also have a community I can engage with on Discord and Reddit where I can give feedback for improvements.
Selling records is also super straightforward and they come in this nice secure “Moose Mailer” so I know my records get to me safely!
Maybe it needs to mature a little?
Using Apple Music to match means my 1979 album is cataloged with “bonus tracks” and that is an inaccurate means of building an accurate discography. Then there’s the idea of bar codes which my original 70’s era classic rock original vinyl doesn’t have. Google image search did better with an exact LP match.
I’m likely the wrong demographic for this, people with newly acquired record collections might have bar codes on much of their (reissued) vinyl collection. The overall projected accuracy and time effort just won’t be worth it to me.

Thanks for your review! We’re very early in this project and there’s still so much we intend to build into this application. We have a local database that is growing as people suggest records that aren’t indexed through Apple Music. As time goes on, more obscure titles will be searchable. Good luck with your record collecting journey and you’ll always be welcome back.
