Auto needs work
The game’s auto battle needs a lot of work.
Characters are unable to use assist skills or items and is not able to switch characters with auto. There’s also a lag time when you manually click the assistant or item skill. It also lags when switching characters. The auto attack will momentarily pause. The game is pretty difficult for beginners even with many UR characters.

Micro transaction greed at its peak
Danmachi Memoria Freeze, the game that has run for 6+ years based on the same franchise, was born and built on love of the series with the original creator creating stories and events specifically for the game. It’s such a disheartening shame that now that game is ending, we’re left with this new gacha game of Danmachi Battle Chronicle. I’m all for supporting and giving a game it’s fair shake, I’ve been playing gacha for what must be close to 8 years now, it’s seen it ALL, but the open greed these developers have shown out the gate week 1, with its very stingy gacha system, shows me that will never treat this property with the love and or care it deserves like it’s predecessor, regardless of the companies are different.
The game has a woeful pity system, it’s 20 multis, with 3% rates. Currently you could buy every sale pack in the store totalling over $300, and still be largely short of enough currency to even pity a single banner. Which they have released 3 extra in the first week, 1 which was shadow dropped. It’s egregiously bad, and an awful look for a day 1 gacha. The game doesn’t even cater to low spenders, it’s purely all in P2W big spenders, or nothing. Being a full Global server and focusing a lot of content on PvP and it’s small BR coop mode, powercreep and spenders will always have such a distinct advantage over anyone else, especially those bigger spenders in the foreign countries that are more typical known for it.
They had a chance here to pick up after Memoria Freeze now it’s finishing for people wanting to jump ship and continue playing and in some cases spending on the Danmachi franchise, and it’s with a heavy heart I must incline everyone to not play this game and wait for something better, or check back in many months if improvements have been made. While the combat is decent, and the enemies themselves are straight from the anime, and you have a proper dungeon to run around each stage, the gacha system holding your fav characters back will leave a distinct bad taste in your mouth.

It won’t even let me play which is an extreme shame because apparently this was better than that time I got reincarnated as a slime: isekai memories made by scamdai namco but I can’t even see that for myself
Barely any chances to get free characters.
Paid Paid Paid!!! That’s the only thing you need to know. If you ever tried to play the overlord game by Crunchyroll, the feel is very similar regarding the amount of real world money you would have to spend to get the variety of characters you will NEED is astronomical. Stamina and arena ticket f2p is abysmal and takes forever to come back.

Skip It
This is just another crash grab with incredibly stingy currency gain for free players, and super low pull rates on banners. Day 1 release also had three paid only banners and now they’re releasing banners with no notice at all. Avoid this game, it is not worth the time.
Friendly criticism
Personally i think this game is quite fun but it feels like it gets too hard too quickly even with UR heroes and also you could be doing anything in the game and it will crash.
It a great game but it crash too much
I like the but it crash every time I get in the game. Play fine for a while then crash. When I got to the gacha twice saved up 2,800 for it and still crashed. And still no new character.
Good game plagued by greedy developers and stagnant leveling system
So I like the game the idea is good though I was hoping more of a free roam and we play as our own characters fighting in a dungeon. Regardless still fun to play with neat ideas however a little empty
Now the bad, prices are expansive and you don’t get much back for buying, you can get a lot of selas at the start but you’ll find out later on it does little good as everything costs so much and it don’t go to far.
Which leads to the poor summons to try to make your character strong. You only need 5 summons of that character of the same copy to max and make it strong.
But with the limited ways of free earning and the high costs you feel like the game gets stagnant as you can’t get stronger and as some might say the bosses on the game are like dark souls. Stagnant is a major problem and as long as it’s not fixed the game ain’t worth the long run
The final say I have is the grand opening of the game, most had I’ve played for grand opening games had cheaper or gave out so much free stuff to celebrate to those who waited but there was much at all tbh. Almost like the developers don’t care for the fans.
