Great start, definitely room to add new features
It’s amazing so far. I’ve used ESPN for years now to keep track of scores, but having to go back and fourth between teams was annoying. My favorite teams are right there and I can see the scores and stats very quickly. Football play by play works fine, behind sometimes but it works. Some ncaa games it doesn’t show the clock which is odd. But it works amazing for MLB, MLS and nfl. Definity a good replacement for ads ridden apps. A feature that would be cool is if I could click on a team and see their stats for the season. Same for individual player stats. That would make the app five stars. Also for football games it should probably include play clock and for FBS a place to see top 25 rankings
Another thing, I wish I could click on a team and see their past scores, upcoming games and some team total stats, that would make this app the best in the businessShow lessBroigi
Absolute Garbage
So downloaded the app, opened it up and it said pick your favourite team. So I typed in “Burnley” and nothing came up 🤷Well done Apple, we were only playing in the Premier League, the richest sports league in the world last year. We have now dropped down to the championship which I think is the 3rd or 4th most supported football league in the world. Honestly these big American companies think nothing exists outside of the USA and the Premier League. Anyway needless to say I’ve deleted the app and will rely on Sky Sports Football app.Show lessChrisA1967
Needs Work
Have had it since the initial announcement early this year. Has potential but lacking in a lot of areas. Notifications are probably the main issue, you always have to open the app to keep up with the games rather than getting notifications from the sports app you get them from the Apple TV app. It’s super weird and never useful notifications rather “hey go watch the 3rd quarter of blank game.” Would like to see customizable and concise options for notifications for each team, and only from the sports app not Apple TV because then you subscribe to Apple tv+ notifications. Lots of work and the live activities don’t always trigger so some issues there as well. And now with IOS 18 they will be lower the refresh rate of the live activities down to once every 15 seconds, major nerf there.Show lessIanH…
