As a waterman, many of my daily choices around activities rely on an accurate tidal readings. It’s great to be able to use an app that I can actually trust uses hyper accurate location specific data to inform its tide forecasts. Harmonic and subordinate in “harmony” finally
I’ve long used tide apps or a quick google search to look up predictions for subordinate stations. And if a strong nor’easter came through on a high tide and I wanted to view the observed data from a real tide station, I’d have to go to NOAA Tides and Currents. I LOVE that now there’s an app that includes both that I can easily scroll around on a map to compare different stations to each other. Best tide app I’ve tried
I typically just use google to check the tides because other tide apps aren’t worth space on my phone. But this one has great data I can’t find on other apps. It also looks nice and modern.jdow22
