Almost impossible
This started off as a great game. It was challenging enough to take several attempts to pass a level but not too much so you could pass each one in a day or two. There are lots of boosters available for free and more if you want to pay. There are a lot of adverts but I felt that the level of free boosters was enough to accept the number of adverts played. However, in the last week it has changed to each level having three separate stages and it is now almost impossible to pass a level without buying extra time or boosters. This has definitely put me off playing and rather than spending a bit of money on occasional boosters I am spending nothing instead as it just feels pointless and money grabbing.Show lessBtc4002

I was really enjoying this game, played it a lot. Then I got stuck in a level for ages, used multiple boosters multiple times, and FINALLY (after nearly just deleting the game) passed. Did a couple more levels, come back a couple of days later and I’m back to the horrible level. The advice from “support”, record what’s happening. Lol yeah, I can record something that’s already happened. So what’s the point? Have deleted it now, there is no point playing a game where you don’t progress.Show lessRelley80

I find this quite engaging and relaxing and I like the way the ropes move and fall quit realistically but I have no interest in racing the clock, it’s just annoying. You should be able to turn it off - and all the stupid meaningless cards and ‘crystals’. Does anyone GAF about that dreck with this kind of game? I would consider buying it if I could get rid of both those things but as it is I’ve hit a wall I can’t pass and not worth itShow lessAdelicious57

Spend more time looking at ads than actually playing. Not worth it. And $14 is not worth it either. Rubbish ux experience. Ad every 5 levels might be worth it. Games too easy for more.Antznznz

When I first started playing this game it was a time killer. The sort of game you could play when watching a tv show. There wasn’t any pressure or anything. Then came the update which added all sorts of features like “Tangle Pass” and Quests which weren’t there when I first started. Now it’s very much driven by making as much money from the player as possible.
My biggest gripe is the timer on levels. The timer is so short. Literally seconds. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever played a game that has a timer that has run out before you have even had a CHANCE to look at the screen and figure out where to start! Why is everything now timed? I’ll tell you why…. Because they want you to buy the boosters and use those in game to level up. Again, it’s a mercenary attempt to make as much money as possible until the fad passes. It’s sad because this was definitely one of the BEST rope tangle games out there but now it’s turned in to a game that is near on impossible to play without spending money to buy boosters (the time freeze or Scissors for example) to even pass a single level once you move on up in the game.Show lessEddiePieHands

I paid to have the ads removed from this game but I still click on ads to double the rewards. Many times the ads get locked up so not only do I watch the ad for longer (especially annoying when I’m in the free play for 15 minutes), but I don’t get the reward AT ALL… not even the original reward. I have to close the game to get it away from the ad. I contacted support twice to alert them of the problem and no one answered. Considering it takes 900 coins to buy extra time and as I am on the higher levels, it takes multiple time to get through one level, I need all the coins I can get. I have purchased the golden ticket and the unlimited play for an hour from time to time, so this game is not free to me. Additionally, I started playing on my iPad to see if the game was easier when I have a bigger screen (it is). I noticed that when I got to a certain level (somewhere passed 450) on my phone, the levels now require me to get through 3 screens of tangles per level. It is nearly impossible to do without extra time even after playing it multiple times. On my iPad, I am on level 529 and have yet to see a 3 tiered level. A few months ago, significant changes were made to the gameplay experience. Overall, they made the game more exciting and challenging. However, they have also made the boards nearly un-winnable.
I was somewhere around level 526 when the changes were made. I had over 15k coins, which were all taken away in exchange for a few boosters. Those boosters were consumed in short order trying to pass the super hard levels. Unfortunately, it’s extremely difficult to earn additional coins, and later boards only offer about a minute of gameplay. Even if you know how to untangle the ropes, that will only be a fraction of the time it takes. The booster packages mostly include coins (which will be quickly burned through at 900 coins for the first 30 seconds, and 1900 coins for additional time beyond that). Scissors, fans, and time freezes would be more useful, but only if you’re willing to spend $6 for one of each, or $10 for two of each.

Really enjoy playing this game, it’s fun and engaging. I don’t like the triple play aspect though and would prefer the option to play a single game for less reward maybe? Sometimes I could fit a quick game in between waiting for things like the tram to come but with the triple play I run out of time to finish the game and I’m not playing as often.

I’m really enjoying this game, however I’m sick of the royal match ads that pop-up every two seconds. Instead of showing me another game that has no ads and try to get me to play that one, how about I have this one with no ads and you keep me playing this one that I’ve downloaded. Apart from that, Purchasing the "No Ads" option removes only "Banner Ads" and "Obligatory Ads" from the game. However, optional ads to gain extra rewards will still be present in the game.
