  • Can’t play without internet connection

This game is pretty cool, it’s a great time killer, it’s fun, satisfying, and pokes at your brain. The problem to me personally is that it requires connection, I don’t normally play phone games at home cause if I want to play something, I’ll play a console, but when I’m commuting or at a restaurant or something, if I don’t have decent connection, it just shuts down altogether, doesn’t let me in at all.
The other problem is just how many ads there are, after every level, u get an ad, complete a level, advertisement, lose a level, advertisement, open up the game, advertisement, feels more like the creators made this game with the intention of being more of a place to store their favorite advertisements, remember the connection issue? Yea, no airplane mode either, it costs $8 to turn off ads.

  • Beyond Frustrated

I’m afraid I’m going to have to delete this app and I really don’t want to. Please fix this. It’s sad because I really think it’s a lot of fun. Unfortunately the game repeatedly glitches. When I’m in the middle of playing a game or when an ad is playing the screen goes dark or freezes every time, sometimes it will start working again but generally I end up going out of the app and having to start that level again. It’s beyond frustrating to have to play a level over and over again because it wouldn’t let you finish. Believe me I’ve been patient. I’m currently on Level 335 and Challenge 66 but now the glitches are closing the app. I’ve tried at least 8 times on this challenge it won’t let me complete it no matter what. It took my coins and my lives then every time right in the middle of playing it stops working and closes.

  • Paid $ for “No Ads”.

I paid for no ads while working with this game which I love! It is a great and challenging game! Never paid any game for “no ads” until this game. I was working on my iPad when I played it first and paid the money for “no ads” but now I am working on my iPhone and there are ads and no way to get rid of them! On iPhone I went to the App Store and it just said open and I did but there was no way to deal with the ads because they were not mentioned. Can you help with this problem please! I can’t do just two games and then watch the one about the king being attacked by screws!

  • Royal Match ads Ruin Game

Latest update. I thought nothing could be worse than those artificially lengthened Royal Match ads but I was wrong. Now we have flatulent snakes farting ... this is outrageous.

Update here ... Royal Match is getting worse. Its sneaky time extensions steal almost a full minute several times during the game. It's not fair to your players. Yes ... I know the standard reply is that the game creators need to finance their games with ads. But this game is blatantly unfair to us players with Royal Match interrupting with the most infuriating ad on the Internet. It runs for 30 seconds and then "adds on" another 30 seconds of stalling. The "Scapes" ads are almost as bad. Surely you can choose less obnoxious ads. Besides Match and the Scapes are stale old games almost ten years old. You have an excellent game ... but be fair to your players.

  • Wish challenges could use stars for extra moves

Fun game but I paid for the ad free version and yet, if I want to do the more challenging “challenges” levels and need extra moves, I have to watch looooong ads. Meanwhile I have 86k stars that I can never use unless I’m willing to watch the ads I paid to never have to see. So dumb. Plenty of games revenue model allow for in game purchases without ads. Switch to that please. I’d gladly pay $2.99 for a package of extra moves. Check out Royal Match for the best revenue model I’ve seen in a game. First game that has consistently gotten my money.

  • Tangle ropes

As with all other games on your device, the farther along you get the less game cooperation you get. Fewer runs, fewer moves, and buying out of ads is a joke with any game, because you either do a level 50 times or watch an ad to get back where you left off, only now the game isn’t functioning the same as the first few levels. This particular game the ropes stop stretching as far, which cost more moves, and don’t stay where you put them. The ends fly back where you just moved it from, only this time it’s now wrapped around twice. Costing more moves and ads to stay where you were on the level. It could have been a very fun game but greed takes over. Buy this and buy that, which in itself wouldn’t be so bad, but then they force you to use up all your “boosters “ in the next round. So they’re all basically RIP OFFS! Rant over lol have a great day! 2023
Update : you are thieves? $5 for no ads ! 1 move left on leverage 100 and something and 15 ads and won’t let me go where it would untangle!!!!! STAY AWAY PEOPLE!!!!

  • Fantastic game!

Great game! It has just the right amount if varying degrees of difficulty. It has occasionally exceptional difficult bonus levels. I play this game for several hours every single day! To all the others. Please only review the game itself. Don’t simply complain about ads. Ads are advertisements. Advertisements are commercials. Commercials are commerce and commerce is money. They need money to make the game so complaining about ads is just a waste of everyone’s time.

  • Wanna love it to 5 stars

This game is great for my brain. The first time i played i made it to level 323 and then something went haywire. The tangles twitched and went rogue without the pins attached. Then i couldn’t move any tangles. I thought it was just a glitch and took the app off my phone, then put it back on. And here I am at 251 and it did it again. It’s not something i can refresh, or anything. Ya can’t play the level. I’m hoping this is a glitch that will get fixed really soon because I love the game.

I also wish there was an option to purchase the game without ads.

  • Good game… with some issues

I quite like this game, but have some problems with it. Firstly, it runs my phone (4 month old iPhone 14, battery health 100%) very, very hot and drains the battery faster than streaming movies. If I am charging the phone while playing, it will pause the charging due to overheating. After about 10 minutes, my unplugged phone, in a case, will leave the side buttons quite warm, and if I play for 15-20 minutes, they are almost too hot to touch.
As other reviewers mentioned, for the challenge levels and boss levels, there often aren’t enough moves, relying on adds for extra moves (draining and heating further)
The rate that the ‘lives’ refill to play the challenge levels is far slower than unlocking those levels. You have to spend a life to play it, win or lose. And since I prefer the harder levels, it is frustrating, as I don’t want to pay for extra lives.
I would play this game more if it weren’t for the issues

  • The good, the bad, and the ugly

First, the ugly. There is a blocking bug on level 2004. So I tried to contact them via their setting dialog in the app. My email was rejected because their mailbox is full. That was two days ago. They released an update yesterday and that did not fix my problem. So I emailed them again with the same result. A bad look for the company.

Second, the good. It’s an interesting exercise in untying knots. The main screen has pretty straightforward problems to solve. More difficult problems are available in the Challenges screen and the Boss exercises.

Third, the bad. The main screen is fairly simple, typically requiring less than a dozen actions to untie the knotted ropes. No limit on time or number of actions taken. But the “advanced” exercises are much more complicated. They have limits on moves and sometimes on time. I had one Boss exercise recently that allowed 68 moves and 28 minutes. The only reason the limits are so high is because there are actually four unrelated complicated knots to untie, instead of the single, simpler knots in the main screen. I think the challenges should be not be so arbitrarily long. I don’t mind the difficulty but it seems like the move limit is chosen so that the player must watch videos to get extra moves to finish untying everything. Nope, I will not watch a video just to complete a challenge. I just quit and start a different one.
