Hello, I love Stratego and I really like this app. There is one thing though, the robot is too weak. Like it would scout the same piece three times… and when I move with a big piece to a little piece and nothing is protecting it, it won’t move the little piece away so I just get the piece for free… and I will move a smaller piece to a already known bigger piece. Overall the strategy of the robot is not great. I really recommend y’all to improve it. Thanks.

Hi Picket Longtreader, thanks for your 5 star review and feedback. You are right, the robot is indeed not very strong and he/she makes sometimes doesn't make an optimal play. Initially, we created the bot to help out new players get a hang of the rules and gameplay, but for more advanced players, we advise to play against real opponents in the multiplayer environment. And if we have improved the bot, we will share this information through an update in the game. For now, we hope you can still have fun with the game! Best regards, team Wanted 5 Games. Another update more bugs introduced. Do you guys not have any QA people? Server inconsistencies, when I make a move it magically disappears, and then I can’t make the same move again. How many times it’s told me I’ve been inactive and disconnected me even though I am quite active and still waiting for opponents. Can we PLEASE get a shorter IN-Game timer for all the weenies that like to quit a game when they’re losing. Why do I have to sit and wait 5 minutes to claim victory???

Hi MCSE4u, we had some issues in the past where users (like you) had to login. We made some changes to the game and now the game should remember your credentials. You only need to re-enter them after we do an update to the game. Having to keep opening it is a letdown as to how it was before.

Thanks for your positive review! You always have 15 seconds per turn, that is reflected in the fuse that slowly burns down. Next to the 15 seconds per turn, you have buffer timer of 5 minutes. You can use this in case you need more than 15 seconds for your turn. If the buffer timer of 5 minutes has run out, you loose.

So glad to see a Stratego app back on the store! There was an official app and online version about 5 years ago that I absolutely loved but sadly it was shut down.
This app is great and allows us to play the original stratego game online head to head with records, stats, and rankings. It’s all I could ask for.
Please ignore that other reviewer suggesting you change the rules. Stay true to the original, this is a fantastic app!
This is a lot of fun. My family finds it fun to be able to set up each piece by hand instead of a random aggressive or defensive posture. However, there isn’t enough time to set up all pieces. Please consider removing the time limit for setup or tripling it for young learners.
I loved this game as a kid with my cousin as a board game, however, the game needs to reveal all the pieces at the end should the game end. Furthermore, it should reveal all the pieces and show where the player and opponent moved their pieces. Similar mechanics to chess and revealing bluffs, good, or great tactics in the long run to help players enjoy the game more.
Right now, I still get frustrated when the game doesn’t reveal the pieces at the end of the game. And I seriously just want to know where my opponent’s flag is when they surrender cause people give up after their marshal is defeated, mainly.

Hi Dameer5383, thanks for your feedback and very cool to hear Stratego is a game you loved as a kid. I understand your frustration, as I also always want to know where the flag of my opponent is after the game has ended. However, the 'problem' here is that not everyone wants to show their flag, as it reveals their strategy and (partly) how they started the game and where their pieces were placed. So a mandatory reveal will scare players away that don't want to reveal their tactics and strategy. I hope you understand this. We are thinking of adding features to the game that allow players to analyze their own matches and replay specific games, similar to how chess.com is doing it. I hope this clarifies (a bit) and that, with this information, you can still have fun at the battlefield! Best regards, Wanted 5 Games. Love the game but deleted due to the fact that the app freezes up about every third game and pieces can randomly not be moved forcing a surrender due to inactivity.

Match making is getting much better since the last update. I was excited for rankings but have played 30 plus games and not been assigned a rank. There are people with less wins and a worse win percentage that are ranked so I’m not sure what is going on.
