  • DISASTER - please rollback ASAP

    Please roll back to the previous version of the website ASAP. The current one is completely unusable, and we’re stuck in a rematch with no childcare options. This is beyond irresponsible. We’re completely let down by this and are now exploring other agencies because nothing works.

  • Awful Relaunch

    The old site was decent and could’ve used an update, but at least it worked. The new app won’t even load upon login. When I could briefly access the app yesterday, many of the Au Pair profiles appeared broken and the Search experience was an unfortunate downgrade. I didn’t appreciate how the migration seemed to delete parts of our Host Family profile (pictures, references, etc). The mobile web design solution for the desktop experience is incredibly strange and the responsive breakpoints are exceptionally buggy.

    Some of the refreshed visual and brand aesthetics are great (one of the reasons we chose Cultural Care)…but so many of the Product, UX, and the Engineering decisions have fallen very short. Not sure what happened here, but the team should’ve invested in more user testing, time to refine the experience, and QA.

  • App needs so much work

    They never should have gotten rid of the website. The app is pretty horrible. Majority of the pictures and videos don’t load. I have archived messages I can’t access and the search capabilities are terrible. Also, there use to be tons of videos you could watch and now there’s only one if you’re lucky it loads. There also used to be a lot more information on the au pairs under overview and all that is gone.

  • Awful, awful, awful

    What a horrible app and website “upgrade”! it functions as if it never went thru testing and is full of bugs. Not to mention the new character limits truncated what was imported of my old matching profile and I now have to rewrite entire sections. Don’t get me started on the glitches you’ll experience trying to upload new photos either! For the exorbitant fee we pay to the agency for placement you would think they’d hire a decent web developer but this one is clearly from the bottom of the barrel. Very disappointed and frustrated.

  • Host family nightmare

    The new app and website app is HORRIBLE! Host family profiles are incomplete or contain inaccurate information. Au pair profiles are also incomplete. Asking host families or au pairs to re-create their profile again is a nightmare! Cultural Care clearly didn’t consider host families at all when developing this app. Requiring the au pair search in an abbreviated app view is NOT realistic. When searching for someone to join your family and care for your most precious children, this is NOT app appropriate!

  • Terrible execution. Big miss for CC despite all the hype.

    Cultural Care is using their host families and Au Pairs as guinea pigs. Somebody needs to be fired for this app roll-out. Did anyone test this app or did you just force it out and pray for the best? Our family is extremely disappointed and very frustrated. Cultural Care basically replaced a fully functional website with a beta app that wasn't completely thought through. It would be one thing if the app was optional, but they entirely replaced their entire system so that everything is dependant on the app. Even their website is now the app on a computer monitor. They didn't even bother designing or integrating the app into a web interface, it's basically a vertical phone screen on a horizontal monitor. What a joke.

    I can live with bugs because those can be fixed. A lot of what they have done here cannot be quickly fixed, it has to be rethought and redesigned. I wish they didn't take host families and Au Pairs along for this awful ride. I feel so bad for rematch Au Pairs, I can't believe what you're doing to them (CC knows what I'm talking about). I have a call with Au Pair Care tomorrow.

  • Terrible app

    Hundreds of people depend on this service for childcare and work. This new app update required 3 days of a blackout period where no one had access to anything regarding cultural care. We were told a new app will be launching and it will be amazing.

    This app is actually awful. I am not able to browse any au pairs. I have an au pair in rematch living with me and host families are unable to view her profile. She is stuck trying to find work, without access to anyone who can provide work. I am now entering week 5 without proper childcare and it has impacted both me and my husband’s ability to do our full time job.

    This app launch is incredibly irresponsible. There should have been a lot more testing completed and a backup backend in case there were system issues. This is a total failure.
