cool in theory, but doesn’t work
I’ve had blush since the very beginning, even to the point where someone named Melissa would text me when I first downloaded the app and asked me if I had any suggestions for the app. I’ve really liked it, but I decided to do my very first cash out on some of the roses I have acquired from the app and it’s already been 24 hours and I have not received my gift cards. Two gift cards to the same restaurant and I haven’t received. I emailed Blush and they never got back to me and I just find this really ridiculous because when they used to text me asking me for suggestions on the app I would answer, but they can’t even answer me on my gift cards that they’re supposed to be sending me.????Show lesstookieashuni
Waste of Time
Their profile onboarding process is significantly longer than other apps, and when I got to the end of it, I received a message that the app is still invite only. Why would you not put this in the beginning before someone created a profile? Horrible experience.ry1206an

Gatekeeping
If waiting for weeks to be onboarded before you even get to try the app sounds cool, get ready to do exactly that. I understand exclusivity and think it’s important to maintain the quality of profiles on a dating app. But at least make the app work before gatekeeping.
Already have a ton of issues with the philosophy, uiUX, pacing, and the fact that we get one rose for being able to connect with anyone. Also this is just hinge but missing all that makes it good.
The idiotic tool tip for trying to swipe or like someone says “some profiles require a rose to send a message, using a rose increases likelihood of getting a match by 3x” …first of all what is that statistic? Second of all, why can’t I message them without a rose for 1x, why not just say “the algorithm has determined that this profile gets more likes than average so we’re gonna gatekeep this too, please spend more money” and lastly, that’s discrimination for the less popular profiles.
You only get 10 swipes a day. Last one just sits there and won’t let you swipe left or right, the next day they hide it in the stack so even if you didn’t like the profile, you still have to waste one of your 10 getting it out of the way.

Horrible
Hands down the worst dating app. It is the lowest quality of men, and women who were suckered in via DM’s from women paid to convince you to join (until you see how this app is ran). The recruiter openly admitted she had to go to “create more reviews” meaning many of the 5 star reviews are internal employees - the entire thing is cheap and predatory.

You can’t set age parameters
I feel like this is a pretty basic setting for a dating app to have. You only get 10 people a day to select from and most of those are 21 years old. I don’t recommend this app unless they finally incorporate this very basic setting.popgloss
Don’t waste your time
First of all, it’s super unsafe and creepy that they require you to select your favorite local spots - no one wants to be stalked when they’re going to get coffee. Second- they require you to refer SEVERAL friends in order to apply and then they accept your friends and not you lol. I totally get that they’re trying to grow their user base, but it’s pretty messed up to accept referrals before the person who actually applied in the first place. And for the record - we’re all equally attractive and educated. Good concept but hard pass. I’ll stick to Raya where I get plenty of great matches.Show lessBlogger99

Better than Raya!! I love the exclusivity of it and the quality of people on it are top notch. They host invite only events from time to time that are SO MUCH FUN.Kinnze
